MCP Actions Quick Purchase

Today’s post is more of a hodgepodge of stuff, but some important stuff so read on.

1st: I would like to remind everyone of the two contests going on.

1 – The Pendant Contest – get your submissions in by Wednesday at midnight eastern time.  Poll for voting will go up Thursday.  Be sure to stop by and vote.  So far, there are only 4 entries.  The last contest I ran we had 30.  So come on and send your entries in.  A few of you said your emails bounced so you can try this alternate address:  For details on this contest, click here.

2 – The OnOne Genuine Fractals Contest – comment away.  This winner will be drawn May 9th.  See details by clicking here.  And remember all OnOne products are 10% off if you use the code “MCPACTN”

2nd: I wanted to remind everyone that I have a new Blog Notification service.  So if you want emails every time I post, click here to subscribe.  You need to confirm your subscription or you will not actually get notifications.

3rd: What do you want to see MCP Actions do next as far as actions/presets are concerned?  Rather than do a poll, I would like you to tell me what you wish you had actions for.  I know all you elements users want more for elements.  But what do those of you with Photoshop 7, CS, CS2 and CS3 want?  I am gonna keep this open ended.  Remember these comments count towards the contest.  So think hard and tell me what you want to see.

4th: Photo Share from Kristy Hargis.  Kristy was so nice to provide me with a few photos of her daughter to use as examples on my website.  I wanted to show everyone these amazing photos she took of her daughter.  She is just beautiful.  Thank you Kristy!  Now if only I could get my kids to cooperate like that.

and lastly – just to see if you got this far – keep watching…  Sometime in the next week I will be posting a free action.  So keep your eyes out!

Jodi, I love the blog and tutorials. Being a kinda-beginner at CS, I would love to see some more tutorials on anything Photoshop can do: adding textures, converting to bw, etc. ANYTHING tutorial and I go “oh, that’s how to do it”. I think the actions are great but I really want to learn how to do it all on my own. I’m stubborn like that.
