When it comes to sparkling eyes, MCP’s Eye Dr. is amazing! It is my go to for every portrait. Even brown eyes can get a little pop. And my other fave is the Dentist action. Perfect for not-so-white chompers.

I cannot think of any “one thing” that I love about MCP’s actions because there are so many things…I love that they come with directions and tutorials, I love that they are adjustable, I love that theyhelp to cut down on editing time. MCP’s actions are just practical and they work. Jodi takes a verycomplicated process and makes it accessible to all of us who need to use it…she is the “Photoshop Goddess”! Plus, her actions have creative, cute names that make using them fun and easy to use. Thanks, Jodi! Looking forward to the new set. Even if I don’t win, I will put them on my wish list! xo

Not many professional photographers are so willing to help other photographers improve their craft, and for that, I am incredibly thankful to Jodi! The best thing about MCP Actions for Photoshop are that they work great, and they save me a lot of time; plus they give me great results! I echo all the comments about this blog being so helpful; I’ve learned more about Photoshop from Jodi than any other website I go to. Thanks so much, Jodi, for all you do!!!

  50. katie Stafford on September 30, 2009 at 10:39 am

I love All my MCP actions. I use my MCP Quickie Collection more than any other thing in Photoshop! I love the Snap Crackle and Pop in those actions! It makes my workflow so much faster and more consistant! Cant wait to see what MCP comes out with next!!

  51. Shannon Hawley on September 30, 2009 at 10:40 am

What do I love about MCP actions…. well, lets put it this way!! When I wake in the morning I love to POWDER MY NOSE, after that I love to have a great bowl of CRACKLE, next I have to make sure that I am properly dressed with some BASIC EXPOSURE….after a hard days work I love to retire to that lovely URBAN OCEAN where I love to either eat some ROCKY ROAD or PECAN PIE….. MCP actions touch all my pictures!!! I also love my Eye Doctor & Dentist!!!!

  52. Candice Popik on September 30, 2009 at 10:40 am

I have learned so much from some of the videos you have posted on your blog like the series on reading your histogram – I can’t tell you how valuable that was! I also own The Completely Workflow which i Love! I use a touch of Darkness/Lightness especially to enhance the backgrounds around a subject and a Touch of Color is one of my main editing items!!! Its great to have a series of actions that you use on a daily basis in your editing and not in a once in a while special image.

  55. Jessica N on September 30, 2009 at 10:40 am

These new actions look amazing. I love my MCPs as they are my go to actions. I love how easy they are to use and how I can tailor them to my needs.

  56. Peggy A. on September 30, 2009 at 10:40 am

Since the beginning of the year when I began with two workshops and then using Jodi’s actions and reading the blog daily, I have seen an improvement in the desired outcome of my images, more efficient use of my photoshop time and the “wow” response from my photography friends and clients. I would love to win the new MCP set to take my images to the next level. Already I see where I would be able to apply them to images in my “I can’t believe this image can’t be fixed” to “can do that” now. I would love to have this new set to make the impossible be possible. Thanks Jodi for having the vision to create these actions and for communicating and sharing in a way “that I get it” right away than struggling. 🙂

  57. Carolyn Benik on September 30, 2009 at 10:40 am

I am so excited for these new actions. I LOVE the actions I already have – MCP Magic Skin, MCP Complete Workflow, MCP Touch of Light/Touch of Darkness, MCP Eye Doctor/Dentist. It’s amazing the transformation even just the eye doctor and dentist can add to a photo! I love using eye doctor to really show the viewers of my photos what I see in the eyes in real life – my pictures alone don’t do beautiful eyes justice, especially those of my daughters, but MCP Eye Doctor brings out their beauty!

What don’t I love about MCP? The actions are so easy to use and are “real”. What I mean by real is that they don’t look over blown or over contrasted. They make a photo look improved but not messed with. I hope that makes sense. The MCP blog is so awesome and informative! I’ve learned so much about actions, photoshop and photography in general from it. (Thanks for that by the way!). I don’t have any experience with the workshops just yet, but hopefully will in the near future.

  97. maureen on September 30, 2009 at 11:15 am

Mcp and Jodi are the best. I use all of her actions and have taken one on one training as well as last years card workshop. She’s a great teacher and quite frankly I have improved my photos so much by using her actions. I remember the comment from her twins “If using actions would be cheating”. If that’s so then yes I’m a cheater and proud of it! lol Every action is unique and distinctive and easy to use. Even the free ones such as Touch of Light and Touch of Darkness are worth millions to us photogs with exposure issues. They can really bring a face out of the darkness. I am so excited about the new releases from Jodi and would love to win them!!!

  98. Annie on September 30, 2009 at 11:16 am

Jodi is one of the most creative people I have met. Her actions save you so much time- and when you stay as booked as I do… time matters. That is the key. Not to mention how user friendly they are. I used to think actions were cheating… call it what you will.. They are big time savers!! Go Jodi!! Keep up the good work!

MCP actions and blog tutorials all of it makes life easier. Not just anyone can do what Jodi does from the actions to the tutorials she makes all photographers who use her techniques, actions, and resources in the right way at the right time look better, work better, and think better about the work we all love to do.MCP actions make my workflow quicker and the results are incredible! I have recently gone through the resources on the blog to find a better watermarking technique, created a watermark brush of my own, and have used the textures from Andrew on Flickr – all with great results and ease:)With gratitude to Jodi and the contributors to the MCP blog!Dawn

  124. Rebecca Severson on September 30, 2009 at 11:27 am

My favorite thing about MCP is how incredibly generous you are! You share SO MUCH with your free actions, tutorials, everything. The actions I have of yours are some of my favorites and my most used! The newborn edit in this post is GORGEOUS. I need more MCP Actions in my life!

  125. Alexa on September 30, 2009 at 11:28 am

I would LOVE to win these actions! I’m just getting started with photoshop, so I haven’t had a chance to buy your actions yet, but I will be in the future! (How could I not after reading your blog and seeing how awesome they are?!) I love MCP Action’s Blog for multiple reasons: 1. You update pretty much EVERY day!! It’s so fun to know I’ll get to see at least one new post on here. And I also know it’ll be fun or informative… That leads me to reason 2. Your blog posts are always something different. I never know what to expect…. A video of tips? An interview? A blueprint? Something else? Whatever it is, it’s something that I, loving photography, will want to read. No “junk” posts! And 3. I love that you promote your actions, but it’s never in a pushy way. It’s almost like you’re saying “here, I can help you,”.Thanks for your great blog! (and this giveaway!)

  126. Suzanne on September 30, 2009 at 11:28 am

  135. Jennifer L on September 30, 2009 at 11:30 am

Jodi, I never seem to win these things, but I’d love these more than anything right now. Ever since I found you, I’ve fallen in love with your actions and photos. I’ve bought as many as I can, because I want my photos to be the best that they can be. You see, I am a newly SAHM, as a result of losing my job earlier this year. I am passionate about scrapbooking and it has become my therapy too. With your actions, my photos look better than ever before. I’m just an amateur photographer, always seeking to learn more, but your actions really help to make even my average photos shine. So thank you for the opportunity to hopefully win your newest set. I know they are going to be great and if I get them they will surely be put to great use.

Every day when I get on my Facebook I am excited to see what my friends are saying but I have to say, I look forward to Jodi’s post… I love them. I love all her actions! The ones I love are, Magic Skin which I use pretty much on every photo. I did a senior the other day and he was so amazed at his photo! He looked at his mom and said “wow! My skin looks great!”Eye Doctor & Dentist is another favorite…. love making teeth white and eyes sparkle!I always leave quickie collection open because I use those actions the most like, snap, crackle, pop. My 10 year old son calls them the Rice Krispie actions. I also love rocky road icecream, I love how it makes my black and white photos look. The other actions I have and love are, Complete Workflow, Color Magic, Cover Model and All in the Details. I really don’t know what I would do without MCP Actions. Jodi, you are awesome at what you do and I am so grateful that you share these wonderful actions to other photographers.I am so excited about the “Bag of Tricks” – I can’t wait to use the Studio White Bright Spell! Shoot I can’t wait to use them all! I hope I am picked so I can add this “Bag of Tricks” collection with the rest of my MCP actions. Thanks Jodi, you ROCK!!

They are so user friendly and have the ability to tweek to your likeness – couldn’t do all that I do without them! 🙂 On top of that – Jodi – your blog is soooo informative and educational and ever changing and full of good stuff! I remember when you used to post at about 1030pm EST – I would sit up and wait for the post, I couldn’t wait to see what more I could learn from you! You have been a huge help with your tutorials and online classes! MCP Actions ROCKS!!!!! Keep up the great work!

I think my favorite thing about MCP actions is how customizable EVERYTHING is. You can take the same action and get either the exact same result or completely different results depending on opacity of layers etc. It just makes them so easy to use and control the final look of the photo.

  230. Roberta on September 30, 2009 at 12:24 pm

I have only been able to try a few of the free actions so far and haven’t had an opportunity to try a workshop. These actions look like they would be totally wonderful!

  231. Teri Fitzgerald on September 30, 2009 at 12:25 pm

Just posted the contest on facebook!

  232. GayleV on September 30, 2009 at 12:25 pm

My favorite think about MCP actions is that they all create and work on NEW layers. It is so much easier to make corrections and modify them to taste when the changes are on their own layer. Not all actions do that. Even some of the ones that I paid A LOT for don’t do that. Thanks for all your helpful blog posts and wonderful products!

  233. Chelsea on September 30, 2009 at 12:26 pm

I love coming to this blog to be inspired! I would LOVE to be able to use these actions to enhance photos! 😀

  234. Carri Mullins on September 30, 2009 at 12:27 pm

  251. Jess on September 30, 2009 at 12:43 pm

I would LOVE to win these. I Just purchased a set of actions from you a week ago, and I was actually amazed at how easy you make it. You give all instructions AND examples, and pretty much walk the user through it. I have never seen anyone do actions like you. Amazing!

  252. Kim on September 30, 2009 at 12:43 pm

There once was an action called “Oops I Blew It” saved my highlights from giving me a fit.Next the eyes looked so dull, so I called in the “Eye Doctor” to save that skull! Then I used “The Dentist” and made like a chemist to make that smile a whole lot whiter. But something was off and I used “Skin Cast Blast”. Got rid of that orange face nice and fast!I topped it all off with “Magic Skin” and now my clients order from me with a great big grin! Thanks MCP!

I love how MCP Actions act as a savior for otherwise “blah” photos and even desparately flawed photos. It gives me hope for all my earlier years of technically horrible baby photos that I still have yet to convert to digital. Yay for MCP Actions!

  319. Andie on September 30, 2009 at 1:49 pm

You have enhanced my work and my work flow immensly and i seriously couldn’t live without you! I started taking photos several years ago when I purchased my first SLR…I have always loved taking photos..so I decided to upgrade…I got to know my camera inside and out, took classes, read all types of books etc..I want to learn everything there is about photography so I can improve my photos more and more..when I came across Jodi Friedman on … Read MoreTara Whitney’s Blog..I checked her site/blog out..I was definitly impressed but leary on purchasing…..I gave it a few days and went ahead and purchased a set…I tried them on a few photos and loved them immediately!! I think I take decent photos but sometimes they appear flat.. they need just a little something ya know??..Jodi’s actions do just that!!!…it’s still your “OWN WORK” expressing your “OWN EYE” for the shot…her actions just emphasize and make the pictrue POP..literally!!!I would definitly recommend these action to anyone looking to improve all their hard work they invest in trying to get that “perfect shot”…trust me when I tell you ,these actions will assist you in that:)

Thanks Jodi!

  424. Thauna K on September 30, 2009 at 4:15 pm

I have downloaded all the free actions and LOVE them! I have been using Touch of Light/Darkness nonstop for the last few days. Had a photo session recently that bright sun and shadows did not play nicely with me. I darkened the bright spots and lighten the too shady spots and somewhat neutralized the contrast of bright and shadow. Before I would have had to scrap these photos. Thank you for your amazing actions and I can’t wait to buy some! Well hopefully I’ll win this new set! :o)

  425. Ellen on September 30, 2009 at 4:17 pm

  445. Kim on September 30, 2009 at 4:51 pm

I love MCP Actions. My workflow would not be complete without them. Everyone always comments on the eyes of my subjects thanks to The Eye Doctor. When I first purchased MCP Actions, I only bought only the Ultimate Portrait 3 pack that included Magic Skin, Eye Doctor & Dentist (did I mention I love this action) and the Complete Workflow. After spending the night editing a session with these, I went back the next day for 3 more action packs. These actions have helped me take my editing to a whole new level. I am looking forward to adding this new collection to my arsenal. Thanks for everything!!

  446. Barb Ray on September 30, 2009 at 4:55 pm

MCP actions have made my workflow much more manageable. They save me time and in many cases solve problems that I, myself, have not yet figured out how to solve. So not only are they a time saver, but they can be a life saver as well!!! Thanks for all the hard work you do and the willingness you have to share your incredible skill with all of us!!! Good luck with this set of actions…I’m sure it will be as successful as the others you have!!!!!!!! :o)

I recently was introduced to your site by a good friend of mine Sarah Henderson from Sarah Henderson Photography, and all I can say is that your blog has become my best friend. I read it every night and take in as much information as you are willing to share. I recently told my husband that I wanted the Tamaron Lens after reading your blog, and several great reviews on the internet. Although I sew childrens clothing for a living, I absolutely love to take photos, and I am thrilled that photography has helped me to better market my product. I recently bought your Doctor/Dentist action, and intend to buy several of your essentials. I just want to read more so I know which one to purchase first. You are a fantastic photographer, and you must be a great person if you are willing to share so much knowledge with complete strangers like myself. I intend to post your website link on my blog http://kinderkouture.blogspot.com, because I think there are several people that will enjoy what you have to offer. Thank you so much Jodi for everything, and I hope to get through your blog by the end of next month! LOL.Jeannine

I love the inspiration I get from your blog and seeing what you do with your photos! It really makes me want to push myself farther with photography and learn more about how to create art with my pictures! thank you!

  551. Morgan Green on September 30, 2009 at 10:38 pm

I love love love MCP actions! So far, I have 6 sets of them. Before MCP I used numerous actions from numerous vendors. I have paid $200 for an action set, and was disappointed in the results. MCP’s are just about all I use anymore. I love that they are FULLY customizable so I can get a very dramatic result, or just enhance an already great photo. I don’t know what I would do were it not for MCP, but I’m so excited for the new set!!!

  552. brittany on September 30, 2009 at 10:41 pm

I love, love, LOVE your actions- they are the BEST! Cuts down on workflow big time. Not to mention how good they are. Seriously they can make ordinary pictures extraordinary! 🙂

  553. Casie on September 30, 2009 at 10:41 pm

I love the feeling of community among MCP followers. I love that you ask for and listen to feedback. I love that knowledge is shared so freely. And I love that your actions just ‘work’ so well. Thanks for all your effort to create a great series of products.

  554. Linda on September 30, 2009 at 10:42 pm

I love the way your actions leave so much detail intact, so many others just cause loss of detail & blur.

The Magic Skin Actions are the BEST! Every newborn photo I have is processed with it and the Touch of Light and Touch of Darkness free actions have saved many a poorly lit photo for me. The best part, tho is the tutorials that help with almost every aspect of PS. Jodi is always so good to share her knowledge freely and many of us depend on it! Thanks, Jodi – can’t wait for this new set!

  593. Serena Thomas on October 1, 2009 at 2:26 am

Jodi’s actions are amazing. They are each broken down so that you can make each photo come alive. Instead of the usual “universal” changes that most actions apply Jodi’s actions allow you to save time while making your photos come alive.

  594. Jay Yates on October 1, 2009 at 3:27 am

Love all the great tips and ideas!

  597. David Akesson on October 1, 2009 at 5:55 am

I used be an action kleptomaniac. Then I realised so many have been developed either by inexperienced PS Users or by perfectionists who make them so complex it destroys the very reason for using them. MCP actions are user friendly, straightforward in the process, and quick. So many are good but the “Eye Doctor” and the “Dentist” are such finishers – I wouldn’t be without them. They are the difference between ‘also-ran’ products and the ‘WOW’ results.Love them.DavidA

I think this set is awesome! Many times when I do a portrait session, I try to use available light and am always having to adjust the blue cast that my images seem to get. This set of actions would be perfect for me. I really love the actions that you have created Jodi, what I love the most about them is that they take a beautiful original and help to enhance the colors making them just pop!! with life.

  692. Peggy Casey on October 1, 2009 at 12:24 pm

I love that you can customize them, I love that they are simple and have tutorials with them! Your blog has taught me so much about photoshop! Simple little tricks that help in a HUGE way that I never would have figured out without your video tutorials! I am super thankful for those! It’s so easy for me to learn when I am watching it happen in front of me! I use your blog and storyboard actions alot too! They are by far the easiest I have ever used! I like the fact that MCP actions cuts my workflow time in half. When I use them I don’t have to spend hours editing and touching up my photos. I just click the mouse and viola! I may have to fine tune the details or color, but still very quick on editing. The results are like no other actions I’ve used and would highly recommend them to new beginning photographers as well as professionals alike. Jodi knows what a photographer needs and consistently delivers quality products to meet those needs. These new “bag of tricks” actions look to be amazing!!!:)

  701. Jessica Hedrick on October 1, 2009 at 12:35 pm

I purchased your actions 9 months ago and cannot live without them! My clients always ask, how did you do that? Ahhhh, ancient Chinese Secret! What do I like most…hmmmm, I guess it would have be their ease of use and adjustability. Not only do they allow my to be as creative as I want to be, but they have saved me a few times on those well composed, but not always lit well, shots! Your new set looks amazing and I can’t wait to get em!!!!

  708. maris ehlers photography on October 1, 2009 at 12:48 pm

Too many things to list one favorite. When a fellow photographer told me about your actions, I feel like it was a great gift. My editing capabilities improved immediately, and I’ve learned to make my images look very different. If I had to choose one action though, it would probably be the eye doctor. What a difference even small adjustments can make!

  709. Jessica Shirk on October 1, 2009 at 12:48 pm

I am a HUGE fan!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely could not live without the eye doctor and other actions!!!! Jodi is soooo helpful if I ever have a question!

I love your actions because they help “could have been great” photos be “wow! I’m so proud of this!”. And even some photos I don’t think are all that great “before” turn out to be spectacular after they go through the magic of your actions.I love your blog for two reasons: One, it’s opened up my understanding of Photoshop and photography in general. Two, right now I don’t have a lot of time to devote to my hobby, so I really appreciate the exposure to the field through your blog.

  713. Wendy on October 1, 2009 at 12:53 pm

I love the actions, and use lots of them. But I have started using eye doctor and dentist on just about all of my prints — love how it helps the image!

I LOVED my MCP workshop on color correcting! It has totally changed the way I edit. And by the sounds, this new set of actions would forever change my editing.

  733. Julie on October 1, 2009 at 1:32 pm

MCP Actions have absolutely saved me money, time, and headache. Sure, I can probably achieve the same effects with much trial, error, and tedious time in Photoshop without the MCP Actions, but why in the world would anyone want to invest the time when for a few dollars you can have MCP Actions do it all for you in a click or two? It’s like having your own personal photo editor, without having to hire one.

  734. Tanya on October 1, 2009 at 1:33 pm

There are too many things to rave about with Jodi and MCP. I stumbled upon MCP randomly last year. I had been looking for actions and tried a couple from other companies. They were just ok. The first action I found was on a site that offered free actions from various authors. The minute I used an MCP action, I knew these were what I was looking for. I haven’t looked back.Jodi isn’t just an author of actions, she is an artist. She has singlehandedly transformed my photography by helping to train my eye to the details. Through the use of Jodi’s actions, I have back-engineered digital imagery and can now make fine adjustments in camera, then come home and take my image to new levels.MCP Actions are the only actions I use. Simply put, everything I am looking for in fine Photoshop adjustments is right here, and I need to go no further.

Better in-camera, yes, but also those touches that only come from the best post-processing possible. The MCP tutorials and blog have been invaluable to me in this journey. I am looking forward to being able to start using MCP actions and attending the workshops as soon as possible. Thanks, Jodi, for all you do to make us better artists!

As a fairly new photographer I struggle a lot with skin tones and am looking forward to these new actions especially for that reason. I use your free action Touch of Light/Touch of Dark on almost every portrait I shoot. I am not a professional photographer but have been enjoying every chance I get to photograph babies and children and your website has been great for learning how to edit those images.I tried to submit this comment yesterday but do not think it went through so am trying again.

I searched for over a year before I decided to “purchase” a set of actions. I used a lot of free ones until I broke down and bought one of your packages. They’re simply the BEST out there. I have been 100% happy with my purchase. I’d love to add the new set to my collection!

  820. Leslie Anderson on October 1, 2009 at 8:40 pm

I LOVE MCP actions. I love to open my computer every morning and catch up on your blog. I don’t understand why anyone would read the newspaper when they could read MCP’s blog. I love all the video tutorials, they are SOOO helpful. I love ALL your actions and my favorite feature of your blog is the blueprints. I love to “study” them. I feel like MCP is helping me to become a better photographer everyday! Thanks so much for all you do!

  821. Sarah on October 1, 2009 at 8:44 pm

My favorite thing about your blog is all of the great new things I learn that I didn’t even know I needed to learn! You have opened my eyes to a whole new world!

  822. Nikki Romero on October 1, 2009 at 9:13 pm

Ok, I don’t think it will give me enough space to write everything I love about MCP… I have been an MCP follower for a couple of years now. I have been using ALL of MCP actions with every session I do… I am a collector of everything photoshop and have soooo many actions and such that I needed an oversized external drive to hold it all… In saying that, I have more actions than I will probably ever use or ever even try. I only have 5 “sets” of actions in my photoshop actions pallete and “MCP Everything” is on the top and holds every action set I have collected (which is almost all of them, I am lacking a couple of the storyboard collections)…. Now, not only am I expressing my undying love for MCP Actions, one of my favorite things about Jodi and the MCP Blog, is when we send in our work using her actions and she so kindly posts them…. I love love love the feedback and the reassurance that you feel when people appreciate what you have done.. It is cool when a client loves their picture, it is Awesome when fellow photogs give you good feedback and can appreciate the actual work it took to turn that picture into a fabulous work of art.. I love everything about MCP, and as always, Jodi you are one of my favorite most talented people I have never met, but love to give my money to…:)

  823. Stephanie on October 1, 2009 at 9:16 pm

I find that the website, tutorials and workshops are nothing but jammed pack full of information that someone like me, who has no formal photography training can use to become a much better photographer. The actions are easy and add so much to a photo all with a few pushes of some buttons. I am so thankful for all the help that you share!

  824. Shelly on October 1, 2009 at 9:27 pm

I have almost all of your actions (essentials, retouching, templates and story boards) and love each and every one. I am so pleased at what I am able to process in such a short time – my clients love the results. I love the magic blog-it-boards – I always use these for ‘sneak-a-peek’ and have rave reviews. All of your actions are easy to use and personalize. Thanks so much. I can’t wait to try this new set.

  825. Sam on October 1, 2009 at 9:27 pm

I havent read other peoples comments (there’s too many)!! But I’m sure this has been said many times – the thing I love about MCP as a whole is you Jodi you are so willing to share your knowledge and it’s fantastic. Also that I can check the blog every day or two and there’s usually a new post that is helpful in someway I love it!! So THANK YOU!!

  829. Jennifer Gray on October 1, 2009 at 11:17 pm

I bought a couple sets of MCP actions and because they are so inclusive I use the MCP actions exclusively. I didn’t think I would see another set of actions that I would want to buy and use until the bag of tricks showed up on my facebook page. I am so impressed with the new actions I can’t wait to use them. The bag of tricks looks like it will make processing even more fun than taking the photographs!

  830. Cami on October 1, 2009 at 11:17 pm

What isn’t there to love about this blog! I love this blog for the wealth of helpful and useful information! I love MCP Actions for letting me get more sleep. 🙂 I don’t waste nearly as much time on PS now that I have my MCP Actions. Thanks Jodi!

  841. jeannie cochran on October 2, 2009 at 7:57 am

I love the way MCP actions can take an ordinary image with yucky color cast and bad light (some days are just downright cloudy) and turn it into a work of art suitable for presenting to clients for purchase! I also love how easy it is to take a boring blog post and make exciting collages that even give the client ideas on how to put together portraits for their walls with the blog it board actions :o) I’m so excited to see this new MCP actions set and if I don’t win, I’ll eventually purchase them. thanks for all you do!

  842. jeannie cochran on October 2, 2009 at 8:07 am

I attempted to leave a comment and I think it did not show up so I’ll try again. I love the way MCP actions can take an otherwise ordinary image with bad color cast and bad light and enable us to make an extraordinary image worthy of showing our clients for purchase. I also love the MCP blog it board actions that turn an boring blog post into a creative collage that even gives my clients ideas on how to group their own images for purchasing! Thanks Jodi, we couldn’t do it without YOU!

  866. Barb on October 2, 2009 at 6:06 pm

There is SO MUCH to love about these actions that it’s hard to pick a favorite! Besides the way they save an amazing amount of time and the wonderful job they do, I’d say that my favorite thing about them is how easy they are to use right out of the box because of the directions you give in the stops. I’ve never watched any of the videos that come with some of them because I haven’t had to. So that’s my favorite thing – they’re super easy to use. :DThanks!

  867. Barb on October 2, 2009 at 6:11 pm

I tweeted it, too. I’m meant2beamom if you need to check. 😀

  874. Sarah Duckworth on October 2, 2009 at 10:34 pm

My favorite MCP action is the color fixer in the quickie collection – it is handy for all sorts of different corrections!

  875. Kate Gass on October 2, 2009 at 10:42 pm

These are awesome! I especially love the magic colour finder brush. My Favorite thing about mcp actions is that not only to do have great products to sell you also take it a step farther by showing how they work and even directing & explaining to people how best to use them. Most actions sites just sell them and might have a tutorial but that’s about it. Keep up the great work!

I love how MCP actions magically transform skin into glowing, smooth faces. I only wish we could use them on ourselves and not just on our pictures :]

I don’t think I could pick one favorite thing about MCP Blog. I enjoy the guest contributors, the blueprints and the tips and tricks. If I had to choose one though, I guess it would be the tips and tricks, I have implemented several into my own photography and my photos are much better!! Thanks Jodi!

What do I NOT love about your actions? They are so awesome, they aren’t just a general action to do something to the whole photo, it “magically” chooses the right areas to run on! The clarity they bring to my photos, even in just one step, are AMAZING, just amazing!

What can I say? I’ve never come across actions as intuitive and striking as yours. The colors, the contrasts, and the unique actions like the storyboards – they are so incredible! LOVE THEM!

  903. Linda on October 4, 2009 at 11:30 am

Jodi….and girls….I’ve just start purchasing the MCP Actions…literally in the last two weeks. I’m having so much fun learning and playing with them. What I love about the actions is that they just make my work that much better (ok…sometimes alot better). They are so super easy to use. I’ve purchased other actions before and really struggle making them look right on my photos but I don’t have that problem with the MCP Actions. I can get the look I’m going for! I can’t wait for the new action to come out tomorrow!!!

  904. Jennifer on October 4, 2009 at 12:20 pm

Just purchased the Magic Skin actions, which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! The icing on the cake for me were the clear and concise explanatory videos and notes that accompanied the actions. So often I find myself with a wonderful product and absolutely zero clue on how to use it. Your videos were incredibly helpful and user-friendly!!! Thank you!

Hi, I go on this website daily and love it!!. I love to read anything about handbags or related discussions. I have a quick question. I am torn between two Louis Vuitton bags. I am interested in the Neverfull MM and the Speedy 35. I am going with the Damier version. I am looking long term and would be interested in everyone’s opinion. I am more traditional than not and I am a stay at home mom. I did purchase a YSL muse bag over Christmas. I got the cranberry color. It really is beautiful. Also, I am 40 years old. I want it to be age appropriate. Thanks so much for any suggestions.
