For today’s contest – she is offering ONE LUCKY PHOTOGRAPHER a NEW or Re-designed Blog!

Michelle Masser Photography – A redesign of Photopro in WordPress

The Contest:
The prize will be a new blog or redesign of the winner’s blog in either Blogger or WordPress format.

What is a redesign?

A redesign is a freshening up of an existing blog. It can may simple or a complete change… depending on the winner’s preference. Some elements that can be changed are banners & slideshows, post footers, menu buttons, backgrounds, fonts & colors. The layout can also be changed in ways like sidebar and post widths, the entire blog width, spaces & padding between elements.

What if I don’t have a blog?

If you don’t have a blog but would like one it’s as easy as signing up with Blogger or WordPress, both are free but there are some small costs associated such as a domain name and hosting for your site if using WordPress.  A basic template will be installed & then customized for the winner if they are new to blogging.

The contest does NOT include a domain, hosting, ecommerce (shopping cart) design, complex hand drawn art, logos.

i just clicked through and i love, love, love her work! i’m in the middle of pulling images right now for a new website, would love to spruce up the blog too!

i think a blog is super important! it is more than just showing your images, it allows the potential clients to get a feel for you personally through your writing, the things you say. when i look at my stats i see that my blog actually gets 3x more traffic than my site which makes me wonder if maybe a blogsite isn’t the best way to go. i think the best part of it is clients getting a sneak peek after their session – they’re so excited and they email the link to their friends and family so it just gets my business even more exposure.

I have a blog but it is very very basic I am unsure if it is helping or hurting my business at the moment to be honest – I think blogging helps my clients and followers keep up to date on my most recent activity, it also give a personal insite into who I am – they can hopefully see the love i have for capturing smiles and giggles and special moments in life. I love following other photographers blog to help with inspiration, word do not describe my love for MCP (Blog, Facebook and twitter!)

Blogging is great for SEO as you can make it keyword-rich and it keeps adding new content to your site, which the search engines like. You can import your blog into social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter, so your friends and fans can keep up to date with your business.
The issue is making time to keep it updated!

I have a personal blog, but my professional blog is still in the works, even though I’ve already bought my domain name! I’d like to find a way to get the attention of potential clients, and I feel that having an online presence is the quickest and most accessible way to achieve that. I’ve been really digging those combination blog-websites out there lately!

I have a blog with Blogger but it needs some major re-desining and I mean MAJOR! Its awful. Their templates do not show my personality I am young, vibrant, full of life so is my work and I have just a plain, blah, background. I’d love to win this contest so I can not only give my blog a face lift so I can get up every day and want to actually write on it. I try to daily but darn that blog needs help!

Hi! I would SO love help with my blog, because I have one but cannot for the life of me figure out how to customize it! I’m so anxious to share news with my clients and potential clients this way, and I feel that it would help my business immensely! I need help! Thank you for the opportunity to help get my blog up and running!

I would love a blog but I’m still learning and after trying to customize my own I became frustrated. People see me practicing with my camera and pics in my home and ask if I have a site and my constant answer is I’m working on it. It would really help establish me as not just a mom with hobby but a mom building something of my own.

I have a blog but it’s cookie cutter and neglected. I think a unique blog would help to convey my offerings and boost my business. Thanks for the chance!

I have a WordPress blog which helps my future clients view my work. I think blogging keeps people in the know about what you do. I would love a redesign!

I do have a blog, and would love to have a re-design of it. I have trouble understanding HTML and I feel like mine still feels like a standard blogger template. I would love for it to have more of a professional look.
