Win $250 Worth of Fanciful Frames: Enter Our Giveaway

One way to up sell as a photographer is to offer framing options to your customers. Today Fanciful Frames is giving away a $250 credit to their online store. Fanciful Frames is owned by a husband and wife team. Dane and Haleigh Rohner (one of our MCP Project 52 moderators) started this company about 6 months ago. They started selling their frames to the public and offering wholesale accounts to photographers and boutique owners about 3 months ago.

Haleigh is a photographer in Arizona. She had been trying to find a frame shop that she could share with her clients. This concept came about and her handy hubby jumped on board…. and that’s how Fanciful Frames was created. Working together has added a whole new dynamic to their relationship, that they never knew before, and they LOVE it! Fanciful Frames now offers 9 different shapes and a variety of sizes. We have a large selection of color options that we offer to our customers too. With such a variety, anyone can find a color/shape/size combination for any room in their home, from their formal living room to their baby’s nursery.

I recently photographed the 1st birthday of my very close friend’s (Sarah) son. One of her close childhood friends (William)lost his life way too early. Well, his mother gave Sarah a few of her very favorite sweaters that William wore as a baby. Sarah dressed him in this sweater on this special day and I took this beautiful picture of him wearing it. I just love this picture and I know she would love it specially framed as well. I think an 8×10 light grey frame would perfect.

I recently photographed the 1st birthday of a dear friend’s son. She had a childhood friend (William)who lost his life way too early, but she always tries to honor him in many different ways. William’s mother gave Sarah some of William’s baby clothes for Davis to wear. She dressed him in William’s sweater for his birthday party and I was able to take the sweetest photo of him in the sweater and it would mean so much to me to be able to provide her with a custom frame for this picture to grace her walls in. I can’t help that William played a role in my acheiving this beautiful shot. I would love an 8×10 in light grey. Thank You.

Just one size, I would do 3-5 frames in varying shades of blue and green for my soon to be 8 year old’s room. I am in the process of updating her room from all the pink and yellow that she loved when she was little. Pink is so last year! We would put pictures of her and her friends that I shot.

I would love a 16×20 Black frame for the image I took of my son with a ladybug on his finger. His face is priceless and happy and the wings on the ladybug are fluttering. Its my favorite shot of him ever and I have yet to get it framed.

I’m a fan of both MCP and Fanciful Frames on Facebook. Love you guys!

I took this image of my daughter and have been wanting to have it framed nice and large in our bedroom. I think it would look amazing in red or a bright turquoise, since it features the sunset sky in the background!

  13. 38

My favorite photo (for the moment) is of my daughters, cheeks close together, smiling with sparkling eyes (that I then enhanced with mcp eye doctor). I would put it in a lavender 8×10 frame!
I used mcp Eye Doctor, Darker and Richer, and web resize.

Love Fanciful Frames! I have a photo of my children next to an old torquoise truck. Would love a very large aqua/torquoise frame to match it!

  16. 49

    Jami says

I have 5 children, am attending college for photography/graphic design, work weekends at a bar, all while my husband works 70+ hours a week. Between my 5 beautiful children and my projects that I have done for my classes,as well as the fun photos from working in a bar, it is really hard to choose a favorite. I decided to go with one of my more recent photos of my oldest daughter who just attended her school’s fall dance. I absolutely love this photo as I shot it from above and behind her a bit. It captures her big eyes, long lashes, and even some of her childhood innocence. I’m not for sure on the color, I’m thinking and aqua blue as this would make the photo jump out of the frame and it is her favorite. But then a dark gray/black would probably do the same. I’m thinking 10×13 would be a great size for a Christmas gift to her grandparents!

  17. 52

    says

I would love an orange frame because my studio colors are orange. It would really draw attention to the gorgeous frame! And of course, the bigger the better!

  18. 62

    says

I’ve recently done a series of outdoor family shoots for Christmas photos. My favorite photo from my favorite family shoot was taken in front of pine trees and would look amazing in a vintage christmas red frame. Perfect for their mantel, or for them to give as a gift to parents and grandparents.

Oooh, I’d love to have a few 11x14s for some great B&W’s of my own kids for my living room. Maybe in dark grey, black or an espresso color. Oooh, or maybe even in red. That would look cool against the light blue walls and coordinate with my red dining room. Okay now I REALLY want these frames!
