The Ultimate Shootsac Lens Bag Giveaway + Discount Code

This contest is now over. If you were not lucky this time, remember you can get $25 off a $75+ purchase at Shootsac by using the discount code: MCPSS12. Code expires 7/31/12.

The winner is Lauren Elizabeth Henry. Entry #602.  Shootsac will be in touch about the prize!

Every hobbyist and professional photographer with a d-SLR needs a way to carry his or her gear. I love using my Shootsac while taking pictures to hold extra lenses and extra “stuff.”  It holds your lenses and a flash while you carry your camera and do what you are best at – taking pictures!

The winner of this contest will get a newly redesigned Shootsac lens bag + choice of any one cover, subject to availability. I have had a Shootsac for years, and just got the newest version.  It is even better than before – it has wider pockets so it easily fits my Canon 70-200 2.8 and it has swivel hooks so you don’t get tangled.  I love the stylish new covers, but since I have a LOT of covers, the best news is that my older covers fit my new bag.

Enter now. Here’s how…

The Prize:

  • Shootsac Lens Bag with your choice of one cover, subject to availability.
  • PROMO CODE for all: Everyone gets $25 off a $75+ purchase at Shootsac by using the discount code: MCPSS12. Code expires 7/31/12.

Have been a fan of yrs for a while…
If I could go anywhere, I would love to Machu Pichu, Peru. It’s the first thing that popped into my head when I read the question. My mom was born in Peru and has been to Machu Pichu. Everyone says it is So magical. I love that I could be where people took such strength, intelligence, and endurance to build a home in a location as mesmerizing as the mountains of Peru. And lived quite well for so long. It’s kind of like the pyramids. We are surrounded by technologies that do everything for us that to go there, be back to basics… Although if I could have my technology with me… My camera and three favorite lens’ (50mm 1.2, 70-200 2.8, and 24-70 2.8) I would be the happiest girl in the world. However for this trip I would probably sneak in a fish eye and a macro. To be in Machu Pichu and not have EVERYTHING with you would be a shame hahahah.

I’d be a fly on the wall, taking pics with my 24-70, some detail shots with an 85 1.2, and maybe a 70-200 in case I have room to back up. I know this is all in my head because even if such a meeting ever could occur, I wouldn’t want to ruin the tenderness of the occasion by playing paparazzi. I just wish she could see how wonderful he is and I wish I could freeze the look of amazement I imagine she’d have on her face when she sees him again after 5 years.

If I could go anywhere I would snap myself to Greece. I would bring my future (because I am just a beginner learning with a Rebel currently) 5D mark III, 50mm 1.2, 70-200mm f/2.8, and 100mm macro. (dreaming is wonderful!)

I would snap my fingers and land in Dublin with my 50mm, 85mm, and my 70-300. *sigh* now I’m going to go daydream about that adventure!!!

    Hi Everyone,
New to this website and entering for the shootsac. Photography is my hobbie. This photo was taking with a point and shoot. I have upgraded now to a Nikon D90 and now have two different lenses for that camera and couldn’t be happier with it. Still alot more to learn!!

I would go to Italy and I would bring my d800, a 50mm, a macro and probably a fish eye lens.

I would go to Italy, Cinque Terre to shoot all those colourful buildings. I’d have my Nikon D80 with me along with a lensbaby, a 50mm 1.8 and a wide-angle lens (i don’t own one yet).

If I could go anywhere, I would have to say London. And I would love to bring along my current lens, a 50mm 1.8, and a couple dream lenses- EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM, and EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye. :)

Already a fan of MCP (maybe with my business page). If I could go anywhere I think it would be Ireland. It’s the first place that comes to mind. I would take my 70-200mm 2.8 lens (that I do not own yet), my 50mm 1.8 lens, and my stock lens (only because I am still learning about lenses).

I love MCP actions and Shootsac! I’ve been wanting to buy one for a year now but haven’t had the money for it. If I could go anywhere it would probably be to Haiti. I’ve been wanting to go on a mission trip there and hope to do just that next year. I would take a 50mm 1.2, 24-70, and 70-200 lens.
