Before and After Step-by-Step Edit: How to Edit Portraits
The MCP Show and Tell Site is a place for you to share your images edited with MCP products (our Photoshop actions, Lightroom presets, textures and more). We’ve always shared before and after Blueprints on our main blog, but now, we will sometimes share some favorites from Show and Tell to give these photographers even more exposure. If you haven’t checked out Show and Tell yet, what are you waiting for? You’ll learn how other photographers are using our products and see what they can do for your work. And once you are ready, you can show off your own editing skills using MCP goodies. You might even make new friends or gain a customer…. since you get to add your website address right on the page. Bonus!

Manual Edits:
- Manual adjustments in curves
Newborn Necessities:
- Paint on Grey Skin
- Eyes Wide Open/Brightener
Inspire:
- Manual color switcher on dress – Blue to Pink – using this Photoshop action, you can quickly change the color of a solid object in your images (it will retain the same luminosity). Here is a VIDEO that shows you how we changed a wall color. The same technique is used (go to about 4 1/2 minutes into the video — till you see a family photo against a blue wall) and watch from there.
- Brilliant Base

- Haze Reducer on her
- Sunbeam
- Classic Vignette (twice)

Thank you very much
Ummm- so how do you change the color of her clothes?
Good question….I would use the wand to “choose” the blue and then adjust with the hue/saturation, but I’m sure there were many filters used here because it wasn’t just the clothes that were changed.
This was of zero help.
Did you see this video: https://mcpactions.com/project/mcp-inspire-photoshop-actions-special-effects-color-tricks/
You would use the Manual color change action as listed. Here is the video – go about 1/2 way in and it shows you how to change a wall color. This works the same way on any solid color.
So where are the directions? I only get the actions used.
Beautiful Edit!
