What are color casts?
Color casts are unwanted tints of color in your photos. As you can see in the picture below, the model’s arm has a yellowish tint to it, where it should match the color of the rest of her skin tone.
How to Quickly Fix Color Casts Using MCP Actions
There are many ways to correct color casts, but I prefer to use the Manual Color Switcher action from MCP’s Inspire set. It gives a great result in record time, and I am all about doing things quickly and effectively.
- Play the Manual Color Switcher Action
- Double click the color swatch and choose an area of skin that is the correct color
- Click on the layer mask next to the color swatch
- Brush over the affected area using a low opacity white paintbrush. I prefer to use a brush with soft edges so it is easy to blend.
