More Sony RX100M3 specs leaked ahead of launch event

Some new Sony RX100M3 specs have been leaked online ahead of the compact camera’s announcement event. According to the rumor mill, the device is now said to be unveiled on April 30 instead of May 1 and it will be joined by the Sony A77II A-mount camera as well as a number of lenses for all the A, E, and FE lens mounts.

Nikon 1 S2 camera might be unveiled sometime in May

Nikon has revealed two mirrorless cameras at the CES 2013: the 1 J3 and the 1 S1. A replacement for the former has been launched in April 2014, while a successor for the latter is nowhere to be seen. According to inside sources, the Nikon 1 S2 mirrorless camera is in the works and will be announced sometime by the end of May 2014.

As promised, Samyang has announced “new stuff” on April 28. The company has revealed the new Samyang 35mm f/1.4 AE lens with electronic contacts aimed at Canon DSLR cameras.
