Here are my twins plus their twin American Girl dolls. They went to an “American Girl” themed charity tea to raise money for our children’s hospital.  I snapped these before they left with my mother in law.

They had a fantastic time.  They love watching sports and playing with dolls too.  What can I say, they have diverse interests.

I get asked all of the time when I post images on my blog, what did my before’s look like.  Some of my SOOC shots are decent, others not so much.  Most are technically okay but lack that “jump out at you look.”  That is where photoshop comes in.  So from time to time I will try and show you my before and after shots and explain as best I can what I did to achieve the end result.

Anyway, editing these was a pain, a real mix of green color casts from the grass, magenta from me playing in Lightroom (must remember that I am not as good at LR as I am Photoshop and should level color alone there – LOL), and from some cyan color casts on the garage.

So I had to use a number of methods of color correction on these to get them look as they do here (from my skin cast blast action set, to eye dropper and CMYK curves).  I would explain these here, but literally there are books written about these methods. I do currently offer one on one trainings and may offer group trainings on color correction in the future.

I also am due to recalibrate so I hope that they look as I am expecting.  Note to self – recalibrate tomorrow…
