Want to learn more about Photoshop? Become a member of NAPP?

If you are a serious hobbiest photographer, professional photographer, or just love editing photos in Photoshop, you really owe it to yourself to join the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.  It is an incredible organization.  People often ask me how I continue to learn more in Photoshop, the NAPP is where I go for more advanced knowledge and where I got information when I was a starting out too.

Below I listed some of my favorite perks.  My ultimate favorite is a little known thing called the NAPP “help desk.”  Stuck on something in Photoshop?  Just send them a quick email.  Within minutes they respond and have an answer, often with screen shots and detailed assistance.

I also LOVE the Photoshop User Magazine which is included as part of your membership.  It is amazing and I literally learn something new every time I read it.

They also have video tutorials.  I will certainly watch the ones for CS4 when it ships.  And the discounts…  Well how about FREE SHIPPING at B&H Photo Video?  Cool – huh!  Plus tons of other great discounts on software as well.  Now if I could get them to put MCP Actions on their site – LOL – well I can dream.

Anyway – best part – I am member 🙂  Ok – that is not the best part.  My kids actually LOVE the fact that they mail you a membership card.  My expired card is now in one of their wallets since they send you a new one when you renew.
