Welcome to our look back at week 6 of MCP Project 52, and the launch of the theme for the upcoming week!
It’s been a great week for MCP Project 52, we’re almost to 3,000 members and we’ve had a ton of beautiful work submitted for the Words theme. We’d love to have more members, so don’t forget to suggest us to your friends and help us hit 3,000 this week!
It’s never too late to join us and the communities both on Flickr and this blog are amazing. It’s so great to see others joining in and getting inspired and I love seeing the different directions we all take with each week’s theme. Also, don’t forget that whether you’ve been with us since January, or you’re just starting up, you can use the “I’m a Participant” banner on your blog or website!

Use the direct link or code to display the banner on your website, or save it to your computer to upload to Facebook.
Choosing the photos to feature from this week’s theme was so hard! when I first heard the theme was Words, I was so excited! I’m a definite book worm and love words of all kinds, so I couldn’t wait to see how everyone interpreted it.
Here are my 10 choices, in random order. There were so many great submissions, and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I did!

Thanks again to everyone who participated this week, it was a joy to see the amazing photos you all submitted! Be sure to stop by flickr and leave some love for our Featured Photographers!
If your photo was featured this week, make sure to grab the “I was Featured” banner and let everyone know!
Week 7 starts now, and runs from Saturday, February 12th to Friday, February 18th. The theme for Week 7 is Open Your Heart, and remember the theme is optional, so you are welcome to submit any photo as long as it was taken during the Week 7 dates!
To launch Week 7, here is my take on the Open Your Heart theme. I know so many of us (including myself) are tired of the snow and ice, so I’ve been trying to open my heart to winter and remind myself how beautiful it really is!
See you all on Flickr!
This week’s photos were chosen and compiled by Jen Bounds. She’s the quiet one of the group, and you can see more of her work on her facebook page and blog. Favorite things: Her fantastic Son and Husband, Canon, Caramel Machiatto’s, painting, reading, and beautiful, sunny days (especially when they come with a temperature of about 70 degrees).
