Fujifilm X100S and X20 listed for pre-order at B&H

The newly-announced Fujifilm X100S and X10 have become available for pre-order on retailers’ websites.

The Fujifilm X100S and X20 were one of the worst-kept secrets ever, as the two cameras were leaked several times on the web prior to their unveiling.

The company even sent several invites to its press event at the Consumer Electronics Shows 2013, while this pair of shooters had already been leaked on the web.

After their CES 2013 announcement, Fujifilm announced the X100s and X20 availability. As expected, both devices are now available for pre-order at major retail stores across the US.

The Fujifilm X100S and X20 X-series compact cameras have been unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013.

Fujifilm X100S employs an updated sensor and image processor

This camera is the successor to the original X100. It features a 16.3-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, Fujinon 23mm f/2 lens (offering a full-frame equivalent of 35mm), EXR Processor II, 200-3,400 ISO sensitivity which can be extended to a range between 100-25,600, and built-in hybrid viewfinder that combines optical and electronic parts.

Additionally, it sports Auto / Fluorescent / Incandescent / Shade / Kelvin / Underwater white balance modes, up to 6 frames per second in burst shooting mode, a built-in flash, and a self timer.

The Fujifilm X100S comes packed in a magnesium body, sporting red-eye reduction, SD / SDHC / SDHC memory card support, electronic viewfinder, Intelligent Hybrid autofocus system, full HD 1080p at 60 fps video recording, and a 2.8-inch 460K-dot LCD screen. It weighs a mere 445 grams, and it is listed for pre-order for $1,299.95 at B&H.

Fujifilm X20 boasts same processor as the X100S

On the other hand, this camera features a 12-megapixel X-Trans CMOS II Sensor with a Fujinon 28-112mm f/2-2.8 Zoom Lens and advanced optical zoom viewfinder. It is powered by the same EXR Processor II and 2.8-inch 460K-dot LCD screen found in the Fujifilm X100S.

ISO ranges between 100 and 12,800, and it has the ability to record 1080p videos at 60 frames per second. The body is very similar to its more expensive sibling and it reserves the same place for the SD / SDHC / SDXC card. The camera is available for pre-order at B&H in Black or Silver colors for an estimated price of $599.95.
