Sony NEX-3N, Alpha SLT-A58, and three A-Mount lenses leaked photos

Pictures of the rumored Sony cameras and lenses have been leaked ahead of their official announcement, which is scheduled for February 20th.

Several weeks ago, Sony announced that it would hold an event on February 20. Although the event will mostly focus on the new PlayStation gaming console, the Japan-based company will also reveal new digital imaging products, including two cameras and three lenses.

Sony NEX-3N leaked again

The Sony NEX-3N was leaked before, but the images did not reveal the final design of the camera. However, the new photos give us a complete view of the shooter. The front, the back, and the top of the mirrorless camera are shown in detail, confirming the presence of an electronic zoom lever.

The latest mirrorless camera in the NEX series will feature the same 16.1-megapixel image sensor, as its predecessor, the NEX-F3. The shooter will become available in the following months, for a price rumored to be around $500.

First leaked photos of the Sony Alpha SLT-A58

Sony will also reveal the Alpha SLT-A58 camera. It will feature a bigger-than-20-megapixel image sensor with enhanced dynamic range, burst mode of 8 frames per second, new focus technology, and a MSRP of about $600, says the source.

Some of the details were already known, but the camera did not pose for a photo shoot until now. Just like in NEX-3N’s case, three images were leaked. The front, back, and rear are shown, depicting a body very similar to its predecessor, the Alpha SLT-A57.

Three new A-mount lenses coming soon

Photos of the three rumored lenses were leaked as well. During the February 20 event, Sony will reveal the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 SAM II and 70-400mm f/4-5.6G SSM II. The two lenses will be joined by the entirely new Carl Zeiss Planar 50mm f/1.4 ZA SSM, which was previously spotted at CP+ 2013.

The new lenses will become available soon with A-mount support. Prices will vary depending on retailer and market. The price of the 18-55 lens is rumored to be $220, the 70-400mm’s price will be $2,200, while the Zeiss 50mm will cost more than $1,500.
