New Transcend 64GB microSDXC UHS-I memory card now available

Transcend has launched a new Premium Series memory card, which provides 64GB of space and ultra-high class 1 speeds.

Transcend, a Taiwan-based company which manufactures memory products, has introduced the new 64GB microSDXC Ultra-High Speed Class 1 memory card.

This UHS-I storage card is a part of the company’s so-called Premium Series. It is a high-end product, which provides very fast transfer speeds and is aimed at electronic device users.

The latest microSDXC card of the Taipei-headquartered corporation can offer speeds of up to 45 megabytes per second. However, the 300x transfer raters only apply in certain conditions, as usual.

In addition to the 64GB version, the company is also selling 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB versions, which can supply the same quickness as their bigger sibling.

Transcend claims that the new microSDXC UHS-I memory card is compatible with all the gadgets which support 64GB cards, such as digital cameras, smartphones, and tablets.

The improved speeds will certainly help DSLR camera owners to store more images at faster pace, which is useful when capturing photos in continuous mode.

Enough space for ten thousand photos or 16 hours of full HD movies

Up to 10,000 JPEG photos at 12-megapixel resolution will fit on this card. At 12MP, the average file size stands at 6MB.

Moreover, the Transcend 64GB microSDXC UHS-I memory card can store 16 hours of full HD 1920 x 1080p resolution videos at a compression rate of 9Mbps.

Transcend’s new card comes packed with the RecoveRx data recovery software

According to the official press release, buyers will also receive the RecoveRx program for free. This is a software developed by Transcend, which allows users to recover the data from their card if the data is lost.

The RecoveRx tool would recover the files even if the card got corrupted or the files got deleted by mistake.

Transcend has confirmed that the new 64GB microSDXC Ultra-High Speed Class 1 memory card is now available for sale, at select retailers in the United States, for a price of $109, with lifetime warranty included.
