DxO FilmPack 4 unleashed on the market for editors with a keen eye for retro photography

Speaking of which, DxO FilmPack 4 is available for purchase right now. It can be used as a standalone application, allowing users to add film-like effects to their images, or as a plugin for various other programs.

The latest version of FilmPack comes packed with 65 new renderings and effects. The list includes a lot of black and white filters, as well as color ones. However, all of them are meant to add a bigger emotional value to the user’s photo collection.

DxO FilmPack 4 is available for $49 for the Essential Edition, while the Expert Edition costs $99. As stated above, the program can be used as a plugin. It can be integrated into Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Elements, Apple Aperture, and DxO Optics Pro.

Moreover, it is compatible with Mac OS X and Windows operating systems, so this should not be a problem for most computer users.

Getting back to DxO Optics 8.2, the software update brings support for three new cameras, that is for the Canon Rebel SL1 / EOS 100D, Sony Alpha SLT-A58, and the Ricoh GR.
