Sony ILCE-5000 and two other interchangeable lens digital cameras from the same company will be launched within the next two weeks.

An Indonesian agency, called Postel, has recently made a blunder by leaking information about the Fujifilm X-E2 and XQ1.

Unfortunately for the company, these are not the only cameras which have appeared in its online database. Beside Fuji’s pair, three new Sony shooters have been spotted on Postel’s official website.

One of the cameras has even appeared with its official name: Sony ILCE-5000.

The ILCE is a new series of middle-entry devices that compete against Canon’s Rebel cameras. They are smaller and available at very low prices.

The first in line was the A3000 / ILCE-3000. It looks like a DSLR and features 20.1-megapixel APS-C image sensor as well as a built-in electronic viewfinder.

It is very likely that the Sony ILCE-5000 will retail under the name of A5000 and will come packed in a DSLR-like shape, just like its sibling.

A5000 might be bigger and better than the A3000

The ILCE-3000 measures 10 x 6.3 x 6.1-inches and weighs 2.3 pounds. The ILCE-5000 is said to be a higher-end device, therefore it may come packed in a bigger design with better specifications.

Meanwhile, the Sony A3000 is available for purchase along with an 18-55mm lens at Amazon for $398.

Sony NEX-FF and APS-C cameras have showed up at Postel, too

The other two Sony cameras are supposed to be the new E-mount full frame and APS-C models.

The former might retail under the name of NEX-9, while the other one might be the NEX-7 replacement, called NEX-7R.

According to Postel’s listing, their serial numbers are WW328262 and WW328261, respectively.

Just like the ILCE-5000, they should become official around the October 16 date.

Rumored NEX-9 and NEX-7R specs

Sony NEX-9 is rumored to feature a 24/32/36-megapixel full frame sensor with 5-axis image stabilization, integrated OLED EVF, WiFi, and a 3-inch tilting display.

On the other hand, the Sony NEX-7R might employ a 24.3/25.3-megapixel APS-C sensor and 5-axis IS technology, built-in EVF, WiFi, and a 3.2-inch tilting screen.

We are already in October therefore most of these rumors will finally come to an end. Sony’s lineup should become official soon and photographers will know what to decide next.
