Nevertheless, this fact is now very unlikely and people familiar with the matter have confirmed that the release date will actually occur one week after the aforementioned date.

Panasonic GF3, a small Micro Four Thirds camera, will get an even tinier sibling on October 17: the Panasonic GM1.

The Japanese manufacturer will use this opportunity to announce the kit lens for the new camera as well.
