Photographer Bernhard Lang has a series of impressive aerial photos of a harbor that reveal impressive patterns created by the shipping containers and cars in the parking lot.

Patterns provide a nice touch to any photo, especially when they are the main subject. Not everybody likes them, but most photographers agree that they make an image better. However, you still need to be in the right place and to have the vision to perfectly compose the shot.

Even though this is not an easy task, we have “determined” in the past that photographers are a creative bunch and they do not back down when facing an overly-challenging task.

A daring photographer is Munich-based Bernhard Lang, who has revealed an amazing series of aerial photos captured above a harbor. This may not sound like much, but the patterns provided by the shipping containers, cars in the parking lot as well as the cars waiting to be shipped are practically begging for someone to come and take shots.

Aerial photography makes large containers looks like building blocks

A harbor is mainly filled with shipping containers of various colors. From above, they provide the perfect setup for a photographer. As stated above, it is still pretty hard to capture those shots, as you still have to fly around in a chopper or airplane, while having the vision to compose the shot perfectly.

The altitude from which the images were captured was pretty big. From that height, the containers and the cars look like nothing more than tiny building blocks.

One could even consider that these are cars for ants. However, the scenario is not so great since you could look the other way around and think that a giant could squash humanity as simple as we are doing it to the insects, so remember that the next time you feel compelled to kill a small bug.
