I have been photographing since 2008 and specialized in newborns about 2 years ago. I photograph maternity, newborns and babies up to 1 year. I offer family sessions twice a year in the spring and fall.

I am so grateful for this studio space because it allows the parents to come in and relax and even nap.

Before each newborn session, I send an outline to the parents that goes over what to expect at the session. Most sessions can last anywhere from 1-3 hours so the parents are encouraged to bring snacks, thank you cards or work. I also ask the moms to feed the baby right before they leave and loosen the diaper.

I have a separate newborn shooting area that allows me to keep the baby warm while the parents stay cool.

Excellent pull backs. I love the idea of only doing the family sessions twice a year. I would flip flop it for my niches and have kids sessions twice a year and seniors the rest of the time.
