The rumor mill has been able to acquire more Fujifilm X30 specs and details. It is rumored that the compact camera will sport a 12-megapixel X-Trans II sensor, which sounds like it is identical to the one found in the X20. The good thing is that we will find out whether this is true or not very soon: its launch date is set for August 26.

The Sony A5100 borrows many traits from the A6000, such as the 24.3-megapixel sensor and the Fast Hybrid AF system, which consists of 179 AF points. The shooter is coming to the market in September.

The Sigma 14-24mm f/4 DG OS Art lens is allegedly in development. The optic could be introduced at Photokina 2014 and it could be set for a “late 2014” release date. Trusted sources are also reporting that the new 14-24mm f/4 wide-angle zoom lens will sport an 82mm filter thread and a price tag of a little under $1,200.
