The rumor mill has been able to acquire more Fujifilm X30 specs and details. It is rumored that the compact camera will sport a 12-megapixel X-Trans II sensor, which sounds like it is identical to the one found in the X20. The good thing is that we will find out whether this is true or not very soon: its launch date is set for August 26.

Nikon will definitely announce a new DSLR camera with a full frame sensor at Photokina 2014. More details have been revealed about this device and it seems like it will be called Nikon D750. All information points to the fact that this DSLR will serve as a true D700 replacement, something that fans cannot say about the D800 series.

Following weeks of rumors and speculation, Sony has taken the wraps off of the A5100 mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. The Sony A5100 borrows many traits from the A6000, such as the 24.3-megapixel sensor and the Fast Hybrid AF system, which consists of 179 AF points. The shooter is coming to the market in September.

Trusted sources are also reporting that the new 14-24mm f/4 wide-angle zoom lens will sport an 82mm filter thread and a price tag of a little under $1,200.
