The elusive Kodak PixPro S-1 Micro Four Thirds camera has finally arrived in the US at more retailers, including Amazon, which is selling the shooter and a lens kit for a price under $350.

One of the “most announced” cameras is the Kodak-branded PixPro S-1. JK Imaging, the company holding Kodak’s rights, has introduced this device several times during the past couple of years or so.

Lately, the shooter has started showing up at various retailers in a few select markets. Eventually, it has also been released in the United States and it seems like Amazon has picked up this Micro Four Thirds camera, too.

JK Imaging has said that the camera + lens kit will set you back around $500. However, Amazon says that the original price has been set at around $600. Well, a major price reduction is now available, allowing photographers to buy the S-1 and the 12-45mm lens for about $350.

Kodak S-1 has had its price decreased at Amazon. The mirrorless camera is available for under $350, a price that also includes a lens.

Kodak S-1 price goes down as the Micro Four Thirds camera is back in stock at Amazon

It is worth noting that Amazon has been listing the Kodak S-1 for a while now, but its stocks have been pretty low and not all four versions have been available at the same time.

This is most likely the first time the retailer has offered the four kits at the same time. The best part about this aspect is that one kit is incredibly cheap and it is a must-buy at this low price.

Without further ado, if you want the black version with a black 12-45mm f/3.5-5.6 lens, then you will only have to pay about $345 for the kit.

Amazon says that this is a 42% discount, down from the original asking price of $599.99. It is worth noting that the price could change, so do not act surprised if it gets higher or lower.

White Kodak PixPro S-1 kit is more expensive than the black version

On the other hand, the black version with two lenses is available for about $460. The kit also includes the 42.5-160mm f/3.9-5.9 lens, which will provide a 35mm equivalent of 85-320mm, beside the 12-45mm lens, which provides a 35mm equivalent of 24-90mm.

If you want the stylish white version, then you will have to pay about $480 for the single lens kit and about $550 for the dual lens kit, respectively.

As the Kodak S-1 price has been decreased, potential buyers should know that they are getting a 16-megapixel Micro Four Thirds camera with built-in optical image stabilization technology.

The specs list includes a 3-inch tilting LCD screen on the back, full HD video recording, 4fps continuous shooting mode, and built-in WiFi. Let us know what you think about this camera in the comments section below the article!
