The Samsung NX3300 has not been officially announced by Samsung, but the mirrorless camera is now available for purchase, while its specs, photos, and price details are also available on the web.
Beginner photographers were expecting the Samsung NX3300 to become official alongside the NX500, but the South Korean manufacturer has forgotten about unveiling this product. However, this NX-mount mirrorless interchangeable lens camera is now being displayed on Samsung’s official website along with its specifications list. Moreover, the Samsung NX3300 price details are now available at some retailers, which are also shipping this device along with a 16-50mm kit lens to their customers.
Samsung NX3300 put on sale before its official announcement
Before the CP+ 2015 event, Samsung unveiled the NX500 camera. This MILC is based on the flagship NX1 model, as it employs several of its traits. However, it remains a lower-end version with fewer features and available at a smaller price.
Samsung should have introduced the NX3300 alongside the NX500. However, the South Korea-based company has not officially presented this device and, despite this aspect, the camera is already available for purchase at some retailers, such as Amazon.
A similar situation occurred before when the NX300M was put on sale before the manufacturer got the chance to announce it. Without further ado, you can buy the Samsung NX3300 with a 16-50mm lens kit and other accessories for about $470 at Amazon.
This kit usually costs $700, but a 33% discount is currently in place, so you can grab it for $130 less. The kit containing only the camera and the 16-50mm lens costs about $600 at other retailers.
Samsung NX3300 specs indicate that this is a lower-end mirrorless camera
Alongside its price and availability details, here are the Samsung NX3300 specs. The mirrorless camera features a 20.3-megapixel APS-C sensor and multiple connectivity options, such as NFC and WiFi, in order to allow photographers to remotely control the NX3300 with a mobile device.
The MILC offers a 5fps continuous shooting mode and full HD video recording at up to 30fps. Its ISO sensitivity ranges between 100 and 25,600, while the shutter speed stands between 1/4000s and 30 seconds.
Samsung did not forget the selfie fans, so the 3-inch LCD screen on the back can be tilted upwards by 180 degrees. A “Wink” function is available and it will automatically capture a photo when the user winks at the camera.
The NX3300 comes with a Contrast Detection Autofocus system that consists of 35 AF points. In addition to the specs, Samsung has put up the User Manual, which can be downloaded at the product’s official support page.
