The Fujifilm X-T10 is once again rumored to become available within the next few months and inside sources have just leaked more details about this future X-mount mirrorless camera.
Fujifilm’s first X-mount weathersealed camera, the X-T1, will get a lower-end sibling in the near future. Insiders have already discussed about such camera on a few occasions, but there is always room for more gossip talks.
The latest Fujifilm X-T10 info says that the mirrorless interchangeable lens camera will have a similar design to the X-T1, but there will be some changes in order to make it look like a DSLR. Moreover, the camera will be released in two versions, black and silver, over the next months.
Two versions of the Fujifilm X-T10 to be released at the same price
More and more trusted sources are coming forth to claim that a more affordable version of the X-T1 will be introduced by Fuji in the near future.
This time, the leaked Fujifilm X-T10 info says that the company will release the camera in black and silver versions at the same price tag.
It is worth reminding that the manufacturer unveiled the black X-T1 first for a price of $1,299.95, while the Silver Graphite version of the X-T1 was launched on a later date for a price of $1,499.95.
As stated above, the Japan-based company will choose a different approach when it comes to the X-T10. Either way, it seems like the design will resemble the X-T1, but it will suffer some modifications in order to make it look more like a DSLR.
Known Fujifilm X-T10 info round-up
Up until this point, the rumor mill has learned that the X-T10 will employ the same sensor as the X-T1 but its electronic viewfinder will be smaller.
Fuji X-T10 will be more affordable than the X-T1 and one important factor in this situation is the lack of weathersealing. Although it will be a mini X-T1, the X-T10 will not be weather-resistant, so photographers will have to be careful when the weather or environmental conditions are not right.
Its release date was supposed to be late spring 2015. However, now it is more likely that its announcement date will be set for May 2015, while its release date will most likely be scheduled for early summer. Until then, take everything with a grain of salt.
