Fujifilm X-T10 price to range between $700-$800

The price of the upcoming Fujifilm X-T10 mirrorless camera has showed up on the web along with the information that the camera will not have a dial for manual modes.

Fujifilm’s next X-mount mirrorless interchangeable lens camera will be announced most likely on May 18 and its specifications list has already showed up on the web. The device will have similar specs to the weathersealed X-T1, which is also its source of inspiration.

For a long time, the rumor mill has referred to this model as the cheaper X-T1, but an exact price tag has not been given. Well, we can put this in the past, as the Fujifilm X-T10 price details have showed up online.

The X-T1 cost $1,299,95 at launch, while the X-T10 will become available for about $700-$800.

Fujifilm X-T10 will be cheaper than the X-T1. It is rumored to be priced somewhere between $700 and $800.

Although the X-T10 and X-T1 are fairly similar, the former does not come with weathersealing and this surely helps to keep the costs down. Moreover, the electronic viewfinder may have the same resolution, but the one in the X-T10 is smaller in size.

Additionally, the LCD screen on the back has the same diagonal, but its resolution is smaller on the X-T10. These are just some of the downgrades on the upcoming model and they will allow Fuji to sell the shooter for only $700-$800 at launch.

It is worth noting that the X-T10 also has a major advantage over the X-T1. Although it is not a must-have tool for professional photographers, beginners will use a built-in flash. The X-T1 does not have such feature, while the X-T10 will employ a pop-up flash.

Amazon is selling the X-T1 for a price a little below the $1,200 mark. If the X-T10 is $500 cheaper than the X-T1, then it has a strong chance of becoming a best-selling camera.

Fujifilm X-T10 specifications round-up

As the Fujifilm X-T10 price tag will stand somewhere within the $700-$800 range, its users will get a 16.3-megapixel X-Trans CMOS II APS-C image sensor, maximum ISO of 51,200, and a continuous shooting mode of 8fps.

The electronic viewfinder has 2.36-million pixels, while the 3-inch tilting display has 920,000 pixels. WiFi is built into the camera and the maximum video resolution stands at 1920 x 1080 pixels.

An electronic shutter mode will be available, too, and it will allow the camera to capture photos at 1/32000s. Finally, it seems like the shooter will have five dials, but not a single one of them will be a P/A/S/M dial.

P/A/S/M modes will be supported, but they will be accessible in a different manner. The dials are for the shutter speed, drive mode, exposure compensation, and two extra dials for various settings. The announcement event will occur on May 18, so stay tuned!
