Lytro exits consumer camera industry, shifts focus to VR
Any light-field fans out there? Unfortunately, we have some bad news for you. Lytro has just announced that it will no longer develop light-field cameras for consumers. Instead, the company will focus on the virtual reality world. The confirmation comes from CEO Jason Rosenthal, who said that this decision was one of the hardest he ever made.

The recently mentioned Panasonic GX85 will actually be named Panasonic GX80. The mirrorless camera in question has just been leaked on the web. The photos reveal that the device will maintain the design traits of the GX-series. As for the specs, the shooter is reminiscent of the GX7, while borrowing some features from the GX8.

Remember the recently rumored entry-level Panasonic Micro Four Thirds camera? Well, it seems like it is not the Lumix GM7 (GM5 replacement). Instead, the Japan-based manufacturer will launch a smaller version of the Lumix GX8. It will be called Lumix GX85 and it is definitely coming soon with 4K video recording support.
