      Hi,
I would the 90 mm 2.8 macro lens.
I am fascinated by the posibility to see small thing very big in a artsy way.
Therefore I am a fan of macro photography.
Up to now I’ve been shooting macro only with extension tubes, so a macro lens would be great 🙂

I love macro ring shots and would love trying out a new lens for that. I also have a need for a standard lens if I doubt win the macro. Thank you Tamron. Shared contest on FB. Have a great day! Xoxo

The Tamron 150-600mm lens. The contest is coming at the right time as I just recently had to part with my telephoto which no longer works after having it more the 8 years and can’t afford to replace it at the moment. So winning this lens would help me continue my wildlife photography adventures. I live near Charlotte, NC. I shared this contest post on Facebook.

The 150-600 mm would be fun, but I don’t think I would use it often. I don’t currently own a macro lens, but I believe the portrait lens would be best for me since my subjects are often people. (1) The SP 90mm. I have for some time used extension tubes and other similar means for my macro experiments, but at the end of the day a true macro lens does make a difference. Also the 90mm size, although not the most common, is still a very good lens for portraits and general photography.

1- After much debate and muttering to myself (I want ALLLLLLL the lenses), I have decided that the Tamron 85 mm (F016) is the one I most need for my Canon. I’ve been so pleased with all of my Tamron lenses- their quality is fantastic. I have a 50 mm portrait lens, but I think the 85 mm looks to give a sharper portrait photo, and I think it would handle some macro photos I’ve been dying to try.

    1) Man, I would love to win the SP 85mm! The reason why, and not to be a downer, is because last year March ALL my photography gear, yes ALL my photography gear was stolen out of a vehicle while out on a job. Unfortunately insurance didn’t cover it. So, needless to say, I am still trying to work my way back to where I was gear wise, and well, the 85mm would be fantastic!

It’s so hard to pick one, because I love shooting what each lens was defined for. Portraits? Heck yeah. Macro? I love macro. I have no problem laying in the grass in my pajamas to get the perfect shot of dew on a dandelion. My neighbors think i’m crazy. And although I don’t use a zoom lens that much, it would give me the incentive to step out of my comfort zone, and start shooting from way back.

What a fantastic contest – it’s not very often that you find amazing contests like this that are open to people outside of the U.S., so thank you!!

I would choose the 150-600mm lens. I have some lovely portrait lenses (prime and zoom), but I don’t have a really great super-telephoto zoom. I appreciate the extra effort and build quality that Tamron has put into these lenses. Having weather-sealing is essentially when you’re shooting in the climate extremes we experience up here (high temps and humidity in the summer, extreme cold in the winter).
Although I would probably use it for some wildlife photography, my main uses would be Astrophotography (!!!YAY!!!) and my son’s games!

I’m torn between the 90mm macro and the 150-600mm. I do quite a bit of macro and wildlife. I think I’ll take the 150-600mm since my current line-up only goes to 300mm.

    (1) Which lens you would want and why? This is a hard question to answer! I think I would have to say the 90mm 2.8 macro. I don’t have a macro lens and I love the detail and the intimacy of macro photography and would love to try it myself!

Hi Guys! I would love to have the Tamron 85MM 1.8! I’m currently looking for a fast portrait Lens. I’ve been shooting mostly Landscape Photography and would like to try my hand at People’s portraits just to change things up a bit. I have a 300mm Tamron Lens on an old Canon camera my Dad gave me that I use for birds and wildlife (It’s a great lens!), I now need a great portrait lens! Thanks for the opportunity!

I’m torn, I would love to have any one of these lens. Forced to choose, I would go with the 150-600 as I would use it when I visit the mountain areas where my mother grew up and for long range shots of graduations and other ceremonies when I can’t really get close enough to get the shots I want. The 150 – 600 mm lens will allow me to forego using teleconverters with shorter focal length lenses to achieve the reach needed for wildlife photography. I have recently joined Love Place Photography with the purpose of expanding the genre of photography. My main intention is to add wildlife and natural wonders photography to the capabilities of Love Place Photography.

I am often out and about, shooting landscapes and tiny creatures and creations. The Tamron 150-600mm, would allow me to capture the amazing wildlife I encounter with a lens, instead of simply enjoying their presence and memorizing the moment. I do not yet have a superzoom in my lens collection, and as I only settle for high quality… still saving for one.

    1) I have reviewed the Tamron lenses that are being given away in the contest. I would absolutely be grateful to win any of the three lenses, but my preference would be the 150-600MM because I need a replacement lens that I can use outdoors. I spend the weekends with my husband and 2 dogs traveling all about our home state taking photos of our ventures. I feel an absence without my Canon hanging around my neck so when I am out and about, you will see me with the camera. I enjoy taking photos just for memories sake, but also because I use them in my artwork, from using the photos in pencil illustrations to graphic design for print and web projects. I am currently working on updating my portfolio, and plan a “very in need of a makeover” of my website. I am in need of a new lens for my old but faithful (friend) Canon Rebel. 2) I live in Palmyra, Indiana/USA. 3) I have posted the contest for my followers on Pinterest in an Album titled “2016 Free Art Stuff & Contests” http://www.pinterest.com/artdzign. After visiting all 3 of the Tamron lens product pages, I’d choose the Tamron SP 150-600MM F/5-6.3 Di VC USD. It would be great for photographing wildlife (ie. deer, owls), sporting events (ie. Dragonboat races), & travel photography. I live in Saskatoon, SK, Canada, & I shared this contest on Facebook. Thanks! 🙂

I would love all three!!! But if I must choose, I will go for the 150-600mm for my Canon. It’s a lens that I’ve been desiring badly after seeing it for the first time and it’s great use in wildlife photography. I have a 70-300 EF non L lens and I love taking pictures of birds in flight, in trees, lizards, iguana and all creatures and animals I could find. It’s a good lens when up close to the subject but has greatly disappointed my with soft images for further away subjects which is the purpose of the telephoto. I dream to have a 150-600mm so I can travel through nature in my Island and in other countries and capture it’s beautiful wildlife with this lens.

I live in San Juan, Puerto Rico, USA.

I posted this onto Google+. I will further share directly with friends as well.

I currently use the Canon 60D. And would love to use the crop sensor of the camera. To extended the range of the SP 150-600MM F/5-6.3 Di VC USD.
I believe the crop sensor adds about 1.4 magnification to any full fram lense, you use. So that SP 150-600MM F/5-6.3 Di VC USD. Would end up being a 210 to 800mm lens. Which would be amazing, to get those really far way shots.

I’d love to have the portrait lens! I’m a zoom lens woman but I’ve heard that the 85mn is a perfect portrait lens and I’ve wanted one ever since. I plan to get my women’s portrait business really going in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA this year and this would be perfect for me.

I shared about the contest on my personal Facebook page. I’ve long shared about MCP because it’s a wonderful resource, both of free and paid products. 😀

I would choose the SP 150-600MM lens. Although I call Lake Hopatcong, NJ, USA home, I spend a lot of time in the highlands of the Republic of Panama. The opportunity for wildlife photography, especially birds, is a dream come true for anyone who loves the outdoors and vivid, enchanting colors. This lens would be an incredible step up for me. And with the high level of humidity that Panama has, the fact that this lens is designed to resist penetration of moisture is a real plus.
