THE BELIEVE IN YOURSELF CONTEST

Prize:

Winners will be picked and announced on Sunday, May 23rd. Winners must contact me by May 25th to claim prizes.

  • Today we’re going to offer one more giveaway! I’m very excited to present this to you. It’s from my friend Deb Schwedhelm. Deb is not only a brilliant photographer she is also the co-creator of Wallflower Friends Workshops (along with Leah Zawadzki). The giveaway is a one-hour Skype mentor session with Deb! I love the idea of this because Deb is so passionate about people believing in themselves and doing what they love. She’s also very generous so I know she will be an open book and you will fully enjoy your hour with her. (I’m actually a tad jealous!)

How to enter:

Add your entry in the comment section of this MCP Blog post (not on Facebook) by answering the question: What is the ONE question you would like to ask a seasoned professional photographer? Please write ONLY one question down to qualify.

Great post! Thanks so much for the info… just downloaded them all! 🙂

I only have Vignette Demo. I didn’t pay for the full on one, because the demo version, which is free, has been able to do what I need/want it to do. It’s pretty sweet! I like that you can create a setting and save it as a favorite so you can pick and choose what effects you want. My go-to setting is using the Toy filter with the Instant 1 photo effect. They work great together so I can do this:http://www.flickr.com/photos/aechempati/5189907896/in/set-72157623292628232/or this:http://www.flickr.com/photos/aechempati/5446229851/in/set-72157623292628232/Thanks for posting all the other apps! The only other one I had heard about was Retro 🙂

Thanks so much! Just got an EVO 4G & am looking forward to taking advantage of the great camera. Nice to be able to immediately weed through the overwhelming amount of apps.

While the Vignette Demo might look good in your phone, they are only saving super low resolution files, 0.3 megapixels. The quality won’t hold up if you upload to the web. It’s really worth spending $4 on.

I second Deann’s vote for GoldenPic. It provides the times for sunrise, sunset, golden hours, blue hours, and the local weather based on your GPS coordinates. The full version offers additional features to choose other locations (for planning your next photo shoot) and allows you to save various GPS coordinates to bring back up at a later time! Well worth the $1.99

On Android have a look at “Photoxor Calculations & GPS”. It is a tool for exposure calculations, depth of field calculations, circle of confusion calculations, and also provides GPS tracking and sun and moon ephemeris calculations.I first developed this tool set for myself, but it is now available for free on Google Play http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.photoxor.fotoappBlog: http://photoxor.blogspot.com.au/
