Digital Bolex 10mm, 18mm, and 38mm f/4 C-mount lenses released

Digital Bolex has released three new lenses for C-mount cameras. The three units are three prime lenses, which can be purchased at affordable prices and can be mounted on multiple camera systems.

Several years after their initial preview, the Digital Bolex Series 1 lenses for C-mount cameras have finally been released.

The Digital Bolex lenses are all primes and they will offer 10mm, 18mm, and 38mm focal lengths along with a maximum aperture of f/4.

The trio will also bear Kish Optics brand in some markets and they can be purchased separately or as a bundle with an important discount.

This is the Digital Bolex 10mm f/4 lens. It is available now for a price of $395.

The Digital Bolex 10mm f/4 lens is described as a wide-angle optic, which is perfect for usage in “moderate to well-lit environments”.

Although the aperture is fast enough and the focal length is quite wide, the company wants to make sure that it will not “sell” false promises to its users.

This prime optic has been designed for Super 16mm cameras, such as the Digital Bolex D16, but it can be mounted on Micro Four Thirds and Pentax Q cameras, too.

It is worth noting that this product comes with a 43mm filter thread and that it is available for $395.

This is the Digital Bolex 18mm f/4 lens. It can be purchased for a price of $375 and it can be mounted on C-mount cameras as well as Micro Four Thirds shooters among others.

The second model of the series is the Digital Bolex 18mm f/4 lens. This unit is also said not to be perfect for low-light photography, as the company recommends photographers to use it in good lighting conditions.

As stated above, it has been designed for C-mount cameras, but adapters could make it compatible with Micro Four Thirds as well as Q-mount cameras. This optic also employs a 43mm filter thread and its price stands at $375.

The Digital Bolex 38mm f/4 lens is available for $350.

The third and last model of the Series 1 is the Digital Bolex 38mm f/4. With a 38mm focal length and maximum aperture of f/4, this unit has been designed for portrait photography.

Nevertheless, the company admits that this product can be used for other close-up shots and that it will do a fine job at it. The lens employs a 43mm filter thread and can be all yours for a price of $350.

If you buy these products individually, then they will cost you $1,120. However, buying them as a set means that you are getting a discount, as Digital Bolex is selling all three for a price of $995.
