The first photo containing the Fujifilm 56mm f/1.2 R and 10-24mm f/4 R OIS lenses has appeared on the manufacturer’s website in an official catalog.

Fujifilm has released several lenses throughout 2013. Up until now, we have seen the XF 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS, XC 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS, XF 27mm f/2.8, XF 23mm f/1.4 R, and the XC 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 OIS being launched this year.

The X-mount lineup is a pretty powerful one, offering a lot of solutions to photographers. Moreover, the camera roster is pretty packed, too, with the X-Pro1, X-E1, X-M1, and the recently-unveiled entry-level X-A1.

A couple of new Fuji lenses, the 10-24mm and 56mm, can be seen among the company’s entire X-mount lineup. The pair should be launched within the next few months.

Fujifilm 56mm f/1.2 R and 10-24mm f/4 R OIS lenses coming soon

Despite all these products, at least a couple of more lenses will be launched within the following six months. The first is the Fujifilm XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS lens, which is scheduled to become official by the end of 2013, according to the company’s lineup.

Furthermore, the Fujinon XF 56mm f/1.2 R optic will be introduced on the market during next year’s first quarter. For the time being, the exact Q1 2014 date remains unknown, but it would not be a surprise if this time-frame would be reduced to January.

Before the announcements of the two products, both Fujifilm 56mm f/1.2 R and 10-24mm f/4 R OIS lenses have been captured on photo by the Japanese maker itself. The image appears in an updated catalog containing X-mount lenses and accessories.

Fuji’s new lenses to sport Super EBC, but different filter sizes

The Fujifilm 56mm f/1.2 R and 10-24mm f/4 R OIS lenses will feature a filter size of 62mm and 72mm, respectively. The pair will also sport Super EBC. This multi-layer coating is useful for reducing flare and other optical aberrations.

The 56mm will offer a 35mm format equivalent of 84mm, while the 10-24mm will provide a 35mm equivalent of 15-36mm.

It is highly unlikely that the catalog will disappear from Fujifilm’s website, as the company likes to inform its existing and potential customers regarding the goodies they can get from the X-mount.

Fuji set to release X-A1 and to unveil X-E1S next month

In the meantime, the Fujifilm X-E1S /X-E2 is rumored to be announced in the near future. Industry watchers should not be very surprised if the mirrorless camera comes along with the XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS lens.

Additionally, the Fuji X-M1 is available now at Amazon for a price of $637.98, while the Fuji X-A1 can be pre-ordered for $599.95 with a 16-50mm lens and an October 30 shipping date.
