If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

I am sure most of you know the saying, “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.”

Well this goes for cameras and camera equipment as well.  If you see a deal that just seems incredible – well you guessed it.  There may be a reason to RUN from it.  Unfortunately, on the web, it is so hard to tell the reputable stores from the dirty ones.  I hear horror stories all the time from someone so excited about a camera they just ordered at 30-50% savings.  Only they are in for a ride and they do not know it yet.

Today I will give you a few places to look up companies and vendors before you buy.

Reseller Ratings is a great place to start.  Sometimes that deal you thought you had to have is a company that gets TERRIBLE ratings.  So check here 1st:

Photo Vendor Reviews are all 3rd party consumer reviews of many products and services for photography and Photoshop.  Here is a link to the entire site:
