Sephi Bergerson moved to India back in 2002 along with his wife and the couple’s 10-month old baby in order to pursue his dream of becoming a documentary photographer. Upon fulfilling his dream, the photographer decided to become more creative and to work on a wedding photography book, called “Traditional Weddings in Modern India.” Most of his work is done using a DSLR camera, but some of it can be attributed to an iPhone 4S.

Mobile photography is one of the most appreciated forms of photography, says Bergerson. This is as big as the invention of the digital camera because it allows photographers to take amazing photos quicker and easier, stated the iPhoneographer.

During the wedding ceremony of Rishita and Kintan Brahmbhatt, he only used his DSLR, but the casual photo shoot after the ceremony was taken using the iPhone 4S on the streets of Gurajat, Western India. The couple agreed to Sephi’s terms and they had a lot of fun. It can be seen in the photos, added the photographer, their smiles are natural, not fake.

The Polamatic app was used for giving the photos that old Polaroid look, while the final images were edited using an app called Snapseed. Being very pleased with the result, Sephi Bergerson shared the photos on his official Instagram account, where they were appreciated by the users.

The most important thing is that the Mr. and Mrs. Brahmbhatt had a lot of fun during the photo shoot and that they enjoyed the final product, said the iPhoneographer. Bergerson admitted that the photos will not bring him any awards, but this is not what iPhoneography is all about.
