As expected, ZY Optics has finally unveiled the Mitakon Speedmaster 85mm f/1.2 lens, which has been teased during the past couple of weeks and which has been leaked by the rumor mill. It is referred to as “The Dream” and it has been designed for portrait photographers using Canon EF, Nikon F, and Sony FE full-frame cameras.

Meanwhile, the rumor mill has managed to get a hold of the product’s name, specs, photos, and mount details. Without further ado, the Mitakon Speedmaster 85mm f/1.2 lens is said to become official in the near future!

Lensbaby has announced the lens which has been teased recently. There are a few differences between what the rumor mill said the lens is going to be. Olympus XZ-10 iHS

Olympus has patented a new, bright zoom lens at the USPTO, which appears to have been designed to cover sensors smaller than those of the Micro Four Thirds ones. The new Olympus 5-24mm f/1.8-2.8 lens will allegedly make its way into a premium compact camera, which could be announced at some point in the future.

Ricoh WG-5 GPS

Ricoh has introduced some Pentax-branded products before CP+ 2015. It appears that the company has decided to focus on its brand as well, by announcing the Ricoh WG-5 GPS, a premium, rugged compact camera that replaces both the WG-4 and WG-4 GPS. The new shooter features an interesting photo mode, called Mermaid.

Samyang has taken the wraps off of the Rokinon 12mm T3.1 ED AS IF NCS UMC fisheye lens. The new optic has been designed for cinematography purposes and cameras with full frame sensors. The Rokinon-branded lens will become available for purchase in December 2014 for Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Pentax cameras.
