The specifications list of the Pentax Q7 has been leaked on the web, just a couple of days after the camera has been spotted on the web in various colors.

Pentax is working on a new camera lineup for 2013. Recently, the K-50 DSLR has appeared at an online retailer, along with its full specs, photos, and price. Shortly after that, the Q7 has also surfaced in the wild, showing photographers what to expect this year.

A new photo of the Pentax Q7 has been leaked, alongside the camera’s specs list, which includes a 1/1.7-inch 12.4-megapixel CMOS sensor and 3-inch display.

Pentax Q7 to feature 12.4-megapixel CMOS image sensor

A lot of people have begun asking questions and they have managed to secure inside information, regarding the Pentax Q7 specs. According to the leaked details, the mirrorless camera will feature a 12.4-megapixel 1/1.7-inch CMOS image sensor, 3-inch 460K-dot display, and an ISO sensitivity of up to 12,800.

The Pentax Q will be powered by the brand new Q ENGINE image processor, which will be able to capture up to 5 frames per second in continuous shooting mode.

Its regular shutter speed range stands between 1/2000 and 30 seconds. However, the fastest speed can reach 1/8000th of a second, using an “electronic shutter combination”.

Pentax Q7 specs list includes camera shake reduction technology

Pentax Q7 will be able to record full HD movies at 30 frames per second. According to inside sources, the device will also support autofocus when recording films, meaning that it will allow cinematographers to produce creative movies.

The new mirrorless camera will feature enhanced camera shake correction, a technology that will allow photographers with wobbly hands to take firm photos, as well as a so-called “blur control” function.

Pentax Q7 price to be around $415 for body-only

Dust will not be a problem for future owners of the Pentax Q7, since the device comes packed with Dust Removal II system. Other notable features include SD / SDHC / SDXC and Eye-Fi cards support and a brand new autofocus technology.

The camera will measure exactly 102 x 58 x 33.5mm and will weigh 200 grams with the battery and an SD card included. The Pentax Q7 price will stand at 40,000 yen / $415, while a lens kit will cost 50,000 yen / $515, when it will become available later this summer.
