A team of Russian photographers has climbed up to the top of the Great Pyramid of Giza, capturing rare photos of the impressive view.

The Great Pyramid of Giza is located in Egypt and is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It has been the biggest man-made structure for centuries and people only dream of climbing up to its top.

The top of the Great Pyramid of Giza offers an amazing view

A team of three photographers led by Vitaliy Raskalov has decided to make this dream come true by checking out the view from the top of the pyramid, despite committing an infraction.

Egypt is forbidding visitors to go on top of the structure and such a felony is punished with one to three years in jail. However, this fact has not stopped the three young Russian photographers, who are popular for performing dangerous and illicit stunts.

It is not the first time the Russian photographers have done something similar

Vitaliy Raskalov, Vadim Mahorov, and Marat Dupri become famous after revealing photos of them skywalking on tall buildings. It seems like the youngsters are addicted to adrenaline, as the danger posed by armed guards protecting the pyramid in Giza has not stopped them.

According to Vitaliy, they remained hidden for several hours, waiting for an opportunity to sneak up the structure. The trio has managed to ascend more than 146 meters to the top. However, the photographers said that it was all worth it, despite the cold and harsh conditions.

Vitaliy, Vadim, and Marat waited for several hours before pulling the stunt

Tourists can visit the three Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx between 9AM and 4PM. The three daredevils waited for more than five hours for the perfect opportunity, but in the end they managed to capture rare photos of the view.

They added that the top of the Great Pyramid is full of inscriptions in various languages, meaning that they were not the first to perform this stunt.

They came, they saw, they conquered, and then they left

After capturing their photos and enjoying the amazing landscape, the Russian photographers decided to go down and vanish into thin air, in order to avoid getting caught.

This may well be a once in a lifetime experience. If you ever find yourself in Egypt, you should not attempt to scale the Great Pyramid due to the obvious reasons.

For the time being, it is unknown whether or not the Egyptian government has seen the photos, as an official statement has not been released.
