The press photos of the upcoming Ricoh GR have been leaked ahead of the camera’s official announcement, which is expected to occur on April 17 or by the end of this week.

Ricoh is preparing to launch a new digital camera, which will be called “GR”. As the company is ditching the “Digital” branding, it is not willing to give up on the design of the original GR Digital cameras.

  • shutter speed range between 300 and 1/4000 seconds;
  • ISO sensitivity between 100 and 25,600;

The Ricoh GR measures 117 x 61 x 34.7mm, while weighing just 245 grams with both the battery and storage card inserted.

Ricoh GR release date still slated for this May, but sources are debating about the price

The Ricoh GR release date is still said to be late May 2013, though there are no words regarding the price. Previously, it has been rumored that the company will push the digital camera to several markets for a price around $1,010.
