Extra Details: I loved the picture, but wanted to add a little variation in color. So I turned to MCP Textures. Textures are great for adding depth and atmosphere to a photo.

I used MCP Free Texture Applicator to apply MCP Texture #34. This is a purple and orange toned texture with a vignette. I used the Hard Light blend mode at 29%, masking off the bird with a soft black brush.

Next I softened the texture by applying a Gaussian Blur to the texture (not the mask) at 85 pixels.

Finally I flattened the layers, resized and sharpened for the web.
