Extra Details: I wanted a warm soft image that still seemed “newborn” for this 6 month old boy. You can only get away with naked poses for so long and I wanted to highlight his baby-ness. First I cloned the backdrop and even out the rug and backdrop by painting the same color at a low opacity brush at about a 6%. Then I used the patch tool to fix a few skin problems and boo-boos. Then I used Baby Lotion from Newborn Necessities at about 40% over his entire body. Then I used paint on the red fix from NN (Newborn Necessities) at 20% opacity on the brush. I removed the some of the red from his cheeks, legs, arms, and behind. Then I flattened the image. Next I ran Baby Lotion again and used a 30% brush to smooth out just a few more areas, especially his legs and cheeks, then I flattened my image again. Next created another layer and I hand adjusted the shadows to add a little pink/peach to them exact color is (#ffb3b3), I created a layer mask and brushed off the pink off the background at 15%. Then I flattened the image. Then I ran Brilliant Base from Inspire but I took of the center light. Then I added Bittersweet from Inspire but lowered it to 30%. I also used a brush at 35% opacity to brush off of the baby. Then I used Ultra Pop from Inspire, I used a brush at 30% opacity to paint on his lips, eyes, hair, necklace, and some of the pink shadows in his skin. I flattened my image and finally ran Sharp Eyelashes from NN (Newborn Neccessities.) I painted it on his eyes the outline of his lips, and some of the creases on his arms. I moved the image back to Lightroom and added overall sharpness to 28 and noise reduction to 10.
