Sigma 24-105mm f/4 DG OS HSM lens price to stand at $899 as of November

As the Sigma 24-105mm f/4 DG OS HSM lens price will be $899 this November, it is worth mentioning that the first to get it are Canon photographers.

The optic is compatible with APS-C cameras, thus providing a 35mm equivalent of approximately 36-157mm. After being launched next month for Canon users, it will become available for Nikon and Sigma mounts starting December.

Although the company has not mentioned it, the price will most likely be identical regardless of the mount. Sony will also get this model, but it will not feature Optical Stabilization technology, as the company’s cameras are already graced with an IS system of their own.

Constant maximum aperture of f/4 throughout the zoom range makes it really special

The Sigma 24-105mm f/4 DG OS HSM lens offers a constant maximum aperture throughout its entire focal range. The f/4 aperture consists of 9 rounded diaphragm blades and the optic comprises 19 elements in 14 groups.

The company says that it will be able to focus at a minimum distance of 45 centimeters with a 0.22x magnification rate. The ultrasonic motor is joined by a manual focus ring, which is always helpful for professional photographers.

It has been designed for use with full frame cameras, meaning that you will be able to attach it to your Canon, Nikon, and Sony full frame shooters. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that it is compatible with the company’s popular USB dock.

Canon photographers can already pre-order it for their DSLR cameras
