Dancing Queen by Tobias Brauning.

Fascinated by technology and willing to experiment, he has spent years capturing the unusual forms that drops of tinted water can create while in motion. According to the jury, the photo has been chosen due to its uniqueness even though it has not been touched by Photoshop.

L’Iris d’Or prize went to an American photographer for his “Storms” collection

The most important award, the prestigious L’Iris d’Or – along with the $25,000 prize – was won by the American photographer Mitch Dobrowner. His work is the one which stood out the most, so one could say that he duly-deserved the top spot.

He brings a sense of its history and enormous skill in his craft while pushing his imagination and even physical strength”.
