Canon 1200D / Rebel T5 entry-level DSLR camera announced
Canon has announced a new entry-level DSLR camera in the EOS series. Canon 1200D is now official with an 18-megapixel APS-C sensor and plenty of other features specific to low-end cameras. The camera will go on sale under the Rebel T5 tag in the US and EOS Kiss X70 in Japan as of March 2014 with a kit lens and an affordable price.
Canon EOS Kiss X70 specs and photo show up online
A major product launch event has been scheduled by Canon for February 12, one day before the start of the CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show 2014. Before the show, the Canon EOS Kiss X70 specs and photo have been revealed by an inside source, detailing a low-end DSLR that will replace the EOS 1100D / Rebel T3 / Kiss X50.
