Canon EOS 6D Mark II to be more expensive than its predecessor
Canon will allegedly make some changes to its full frame DSLR line-up. The company is planning to move a couple of its cameras up the ranks. Sources are reporting that the Canon EOS 6D Mark II will have better features and will be more expensive than its predecessor, a path which could be followed by the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.
Cheaper Sony NEX-FF camera price near the prices of Canon 6D and Nikon D600
Sony will announce two new E-mount full frame shooters within the next few months. If the high-end model holds few secrets from us, the entry-level one is still a partial mystery. However, it appears that the cheaper Sony NEX-FF camera will become available for a price around $2,000, comparable to the prices of the Canon 6D and Nikon D600.
Sea & Sea announces Canon EOS 6D underwater housing
Sea & Sea has developed a Canon EOS 6D underwater housing in its high-end MDX series which will be able to withstand depths of up to 330 feet. Except for depth-of-field preview, the MDX 6-D will access all of the camera’s functions, helped by an ergonomic design.
Canon 6D firmware update 1.1.3 released for download
The rumor mill has previously suggested that Canon is working on a firmware update for the EOS 6D camera. Although it was supposed to be released sometime in late May or early June, it seems like the Japan-based company has officially unleashed firmware update 1.1.3 for all Canon 6D users, in order to provide a bug fix.

Canon will release several firmware updates for its cameras by the end of 2013. The company has already released updates for plenty of its cameras and three more are scheduled to become available in the following months. However, there is room for one more as the rumor mill says the EOS 6D will also be updated soon.
