Nikon D3500 rumors resurface after D3300’s demise
An interesting decision has been made by Nikon Japan. The company has decided to discontinue the D3300 DSLR in its home country, signalling its intention to launch a successor. Initially believed to be called D3400 and to come at Photokina 2016, it seems like the replacement will be named D3500 and will show up sooner rather than later.

After weeks of rumors and speculation, the Nikon D3300 entry-level DSLR camera and AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II lens have become official at CES 2014. The new kit is better and stronger, but smaller and lighter than the previous generation and it will become available on the market as soon as next month.

A new Nikon DSLR camera is coming soon. According to the rumor mill, it will be announced in early January 2014. On the other hand, the company’s Middle East & Africa division is claiming that such a device will actually be unveiled on January 17 and will be offered as a grand prize in an interesting photo competition.
