“Try Before You Buy” brings you a Panasonic Lumix GH3 for 48 hours

Panasonic has launched a “Try Before You Buy” service, allowing photographers to borrow the Lumix DMC-GH3 for 48 hours.

The company has introduced this new promotion in the United Kingdom. It says that potential customers can “loan” the award-winning Panasonic Lumix GH3 for 48 hours.

Additionally, the loan time excludes both delivery and collection times, meaning that photographers have a full two-day period at their disposal, which can be used to put the camera to serious testing, before deciding whether to purchase it or not.

Panasonic is offering the Lumix GH3 with a 12-35mm lens for a 48-hour loan, courtesy of the “Try Before You Buy” service in the UK.

Panasonic confirmed that the promotion is available at many retailers in the UK. People who decide to test the Micro Four Thirds System-based camera will not be forced to buy it at the end of the trial period.

Consumers can now explore the benefits of the Lumix DMC-GH3 camera, said a Panasonic employee. Product and Marketing Manager, Barney Sykes, said that the Lumix GH3 is the “most advanced system camera” developed by Panasonic, therefore users need to be convinced of this fact. The only way to do this is by inviting people to test the actual product, added Sykes.

Barney Sykes also said that Panasonic understands that customers may want to test a product before paying such a high price for it. The Product and Marketing Manager believes that this action will “increase sales opportunities”.

The “Try Before You Buy” campaign consists of only one camera/lens combination: Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH3 with a 12-35mm lens.
