New Pentax lens 2015 roadmap for K-mount cameras unveiled at CP+ 2015
The Japan-based manufacturer says that it is planning to release four new lenses for K-mount cameras, one of them for models with APS-C sensors and the other three for full frame shooters.
The DA wide zoom is aimed at existing K-mount DSLRs that employ APS-C sensors. The rumor mill says that it will have a 10-30mm focal length.
The D FA large-diameter wide zoom will be designed for full frame DSLRs, such as the one whose development has been confirmed recently. It is rumored to have a 15-30mm focal range.
The D FA large-diameter standard zoom is on its way, too, and it might have a focal range starting at 24mm and ending at 70mm.
Last, but not least, the D FA standard zoom model will be released with a 25-100mm focal range.
Two lenses to be released for Pentax 645-mount cameras this year
Ricoh is also working on lenses for 645-mount medium-format cameras. Photographers using Pentax 645 shooters will get two new lenses by the end of 2015 or in early 2016.
The standard zoom lens is rumored to come with a 45-85mm focal length, while the tele zoom model could have a 90-180mm focal length.
Telephoto macro lens coming soon to Pentax Q-mount camera owners
Photographers using Pentax Q-mount mirrorless cameras with smaller image sensors than their K-mount and 645-mount counterparts are getting just one new lens this year.
According to Ricoh, a telephoto optic with macro capabilities is being planed for a 2015 launch. According to some sources, the lens might have a 90mm focal length.
As you can see, no focal length can be confirmed at this point. This is why you will have to stay tuned to Camyx for more details!
