Sony 20mm f/2.8 and 28mm f/2.8 lenses patented in the US
Sony has patented a couple of new lenses aimed at E-mount mirrorless cameras with APS-C-sized image sensors. Both the Sony 20mm f/2.8 and 28mm f/2.8 optics have been mentioned in the same patent, which is available on the website of the US Patent and Trademark Office, where the two optics are said to be very compact.
Sony RX1s camera coming at Photokina 2014 with curved sensor
The first camera in the world with a curved image sensor could be unveiled at the Photokina 2014. The rumor mill is once more talking about this possibility and it seems like the Sony RX1s camera is the device in question. Among others, the RX1s will come packed with a Zeiss 35mm f/1.8 lens and will provide a very high image quality.
