Contest: Enter to Win Dry Erase Photo Boards from Color Inc.

Contest: Enter to Win Dry Erase Photo Boards from Color Inc.

It’s not too early to start thinking of stocking-stuffers, teach gifts, presents and more for this upcoming Holiday Season.  Whether it is for your own family or as an offering to your customers, custom printed photo dry erase boards are fun presents. They range in price from 12.50 to 25.00 depending on size.

Color Inc Pro Lab, an MCP Sponsor, recently added dry erase boards to their offerings.  I just received mine (I ordered 6) and I have to tell you, they are AMAZING.  The print quality is spectacular, the finish on them reminds me of their pearl prints, almost a light metallic feel.  They are beautiful.  Whoever thought I’d say that about a dry erase board?

CI MCP Actions 252x125 Contest: Enter to Win Dry Erase Photo Boards from Color Inc.

My twins went crazy, as I ordered them each one of the other – you know they love to draw all over each other…  And then I ordered a few for our fridge, and a few for relatives for the holidays.  They include a marker and are covered in back with magnets.

Here are the dry erase boards of my twins – for my twins.  They already managed to add mustaches, beards and crazy hair-dos on each other.

I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to win these for my boys! They draw all over each other as it is…they would get a kick out of these! I use the free templates to start, but I think the possibilities are endless:) I would definitley use these as a marketing tool…under contracts, on display in the office. Cool product!

  2. 2

I would definitely use some of their custom templates and my photos to design some for the grandparents for Christmas gifts. Great idea! :) I wouldn’t mind offering them in my business as a limited time “Christmas special”.

I would give one as a customer gift, one as a sample.
•Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes?
    Probably use ROES template
•What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)?
I would add them to my list of products I offer, give them as giveaways for celebrations.

    1. I would keep one as a sample for event clients and I would give one away to my grandparents who pepper their refrigerator with To-Do’s and family photos. I would win the unofficial favorite gift of the year contest for sure.

    2. My own design.

    3. These would be great to have on site (I’m a meeting/event planner) as I could brand them with the company photos and use it on our messaging center.

I would love one of these with my own kids’ images on it! The other one I would give the other to a client of mine who has sent several referrals and is just an awesome client to have-she deserves it! I would love to offer these during the holidays as well.

One would definitely be for my hubby since he works out on an oil rig and is gone for 3 weeks at a time. The other would be a gift for my son’s NJROTC instructor. Chief is a riot and we have a bunch of funny pictures to use.
•Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes?
One for hubby I would make from scratch, but would take a look at their templates for others.
•What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)?
Could sell them, use them as fundraisers for groups, use for giveaways & gifts

    Heather says:

I would keep one for myself and use the other for a holiday gift. I think I like the templates, so I would probably use the template. It would be nice to have one as an example for clients who would want something different.

If I won the boards I would give one to my parents as a gift for the holidays and keep the other for myself to use and as a sample <3

I would like one from scratch and the other from a template to see how they turn out.

I would set mine up in my studio to show off to my clients :) thanks!!

    Shelly LeBlanc says:

If I won, I’d make gifts for the coaches of my kids’ soccer and baseball teams with pictures of their kids I took during the seasons.
After this crazy season is over, Im going to get one of these boards for myself.
I will probably just use one of the templates offered by ColorInc.

  11. 11
    Donelle says:

These are so awesome, I would definitely use them to give to my two daughters they would love them. I would probably use one of their templates to design them. I am not in business

  12. 12
    Missy says:

If I won…hmmm…probably samples first…then I would order more for gifts cause I’m sure I’d like them! :)
I’d prob use a combo of the templates and my own pics

I would definately do one for my niece, and one for me with a picture of my niece! She’d love it!

I might try my own design, but would certainly want to check out the templates available.

Right now I like to give a little magnet to clients, but how nice would one of these be as a promotional tool or giveaway for clients and those who ‘like’ us.

Very nice product & I’d love to win (cause when I find things I like I tend to order many of them ! haha)

  18. 18
    Shelly Loree says:

    1. I would use one as a gift and one as a sample
    2. Probably a template since I have never ordered these before

    Jen Towner says:

If I won these boards, I would give one to my parents and one for myself! I need some sort of organization at home to let my family know when I have shoots as well as important kids dates.
I would probably use the free templates or my MCP story boards.
I would definitely want to print up some for my business as samples. Mom’s love this kind of stuff. Working moms like this too. Great to have at work to show off kiddos photos.

    scott cotner-young says:

How COOL are these! I can think of several uses! Teacher gifts! Grandparents Gifts! Client Thank You gifts and of course personal use!! My son would love one of these in his room…what a great stocking stuffer!

  21. 21

I would give them to my two youngest kid’s teachers. I would probably design them myself. I’d also love to have one for my business, just to sign paper work on etc. Just another way to show my work.

  22. 22

If you win 2 dry erase boards, who would you give them to? Would you print up samples or use them for yourself? A customer? Or as holiday gifts? I would keep one to show clients and then probably gift one.

Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes? Hmmm… I’m not sure. Maybe one of each?

What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)? I think it would be cute to have the bride and groom write messages to each other or draw each other pictures before the wedding.

  23. 23
    Sarah Kannenberg says:

If I won I would give one to my parents and one to my assistant. I have received a lot of word of mouth work through both of them!

I would probably design a custom one myself to make it completely unique.

It would definately make a good gift to the best clients (not just highest spending, but the ones that talk about the business the most).

  24. 24
    Jenn S. says:

    * If you win 2 dry erase boards, who would you give them to? Would you print up samples or use them for yourself? A customer? Or as holiday gifts?
    – One for me and one as a gift

    * Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes?
    – I’d probably do my own design and then try the template for the other one.

    * What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)?
    – I think it would be neat to have the clipboard style and have an invoice or order form on top. I could just hear the comments and the “how can I get one of those?”

  25. 25
    Heidi Porter says:

I would LOVE to use them as a sample for our business or get one to my sister or mother. They would adore them. I’m not sure if I would use the free templates or try something on my own. Maybe one of each.
I can totally see adding these as a add on to a package or a freebie with so much purchased. I adore them!
    Thanks!

  26. 26

I would be thrilled to be a winner of these creative dry erase boards!! I would design a custom image for them… One for my husband to use in his Cesna as a reusable flight checklist, and one for myself to consolidate my myriad To Do lists scattered on Post It notes throughout my work and personal spaces. I also think they would make fabulous Christmas and Mother’s Day gifts, teacher’s gifts, client gifts (for photographers, realtors, flight instructors, etc.). The uses are endless!! Sooo, choose me! CHOOSE ME!! :)

If you win 2 dry erase boards, who would you give them to? Keep one and give one to grandma
Would you print up samples or use them for yourself? the one I kept I would print up samples. The extra one would be a holiday gift.
Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes? Template most likely
What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one) I think it’s a great way to show different processing on the same photo.

  42. 42
    Cara says:

I’d make one for me and one for my mother-in-law!

Probably design my own from scratch, although those templates look good.

Business? Keeping young’ens entertained while mom and dad are looking @ proofs (if you do print proofs?) or maybe a workflow checklist of to-do’s (email clients, post photos, etc?)

  43. 43
    melaniel says:

I would keep one for our home, and get one made for my daughters Godfather who is deploying to Afghanistan in 4 weeks. I would probably use a template to get it done in time.

  44. 44
    Christina Z. says:

I would DEFINITELY give one to my dad..he is self-employed…and uses a dry erase board everyday!..the other one I would be stingy..and keep for myself. :) hehe.. I would definitely check out the templates..but I like to make stuff from scratch as well. :) THese would make great “Gifts for clients” as well. :D

  46. 46
    Tina Mitchell says:

If I were the lucky winner, I would definitely keep one for myself & give one to my mom. They are sure to make the cutest gift ever!! I would use Color Inc’s free templates. I don’t have a business, just love to take pictures! But I would definitely be showing them off to my friends!!

  47. 47
    Allie says:

•I think that I would use one as a sample in the studio, maybe convieniently use it to sketch out a session plan with the client. The other I would have to hand over to my mom the school librarian, she loves to show off the grandkids :)

•Doh! That’s hard, I would probably use their ideas for inspiration, but I have a ton digital scrapbook matierials just sitting there taking up disk space so I’d probably end up making my own.

•The first thing that comes to mind is to take a photo of my 4 year old standing on the white backdrop in her pink leotard and tights, and then handing that over with colorful markers to restless siblings during a session to play paperless paper dolls. But I’m sure I could think of more practical uses :)

  48. 48
    Joanna Little says:

    * If you win 2 dry erase boards, who would you give them to? Would you print up samples or use them for yourself? A customer? Or as holiday gifts?

I would use both as gifts. One I would give to my husband. I’ve been working on a story board with pictures of him and our children and this would work perfectly for him. He’s always using a dry erase board for school. The other I would give to my parents for Christmas with some pictures of their grandchildren.

    * Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes?

One I would make my own design and the other I would use one of Color Inc’s templates.

    * What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)?

These would be great for special promotions and giveaways.

    ingrid says:

While my twins would enjoy defacing each other I would actually give each of the grandparents one of the boards. I don’t have any of your “board” actions yet and I’m still new to PSE & editing so I would use their templates.

I would use these as gifts, for teachers, at Christmas. What a great idea! And since I’m not quite so creative, I know I would use one of their free templates. I don’t have a business – yet – so I don’t have an answer for that part.

  56. 56
    Arden Prucha says:

I would give one to my son and one to my niece! Probably using a template. These are fun in general and could be great on a kid session – if someone is getting cranky! Also love the calendar idea!

    * If you win 2 dry erase boards, who would you give them to?
One for my niece, so she could get rid of some of her jealousy for her little sister by drawing on her. And one for my mom, with a picture of her granddaughters.
    * Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes? I would probably use the template.
    * What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)? Don’t have one, but if I ever do, maybe as fun entertainment for a “Kids’ Corner”?

  63. 63

IF I WON- I WOULD GIVE THEM AS GIFTS. I WOULD LOVE ONE FOR MYSELF BUT SINCE THIS THIS HE SEASON FOR GIVING I WOULD GIVE THEM. THE FIRST ONE I WOULD GIVE OUT WOULD BE TO MY MOTHER. I AM ALWAYS HAVING TO WRITE HER POST-IT NOTES ALL OVER THE PLACE TO REMEMBER. NOW SHE COULD HAVE A MESSAGE BOARD ON THE FRIG., AND MY DAD WOULD ALWAYS KNOW WHERE TO LOOK FOR NOTES, PLUS SHE WOULD HAVE BEAUTIFUL PICTURES OF HER GRANDKIDS SO IT WOULD LOOK GORGEOUS ON THE FRIG INSTEAD OF POST-IT NOTES. SECOND ONE I WOULD GIVE TO MY PHOTOGRAPHER FRIEND MICHELLE GUERRA- SHE IS AN AMAZING ARTIST AND A DEAR FRIEND. THIS WOULD BE A VERY SPECIAL GIFT FOR HER THAT HAD ALOT OF MEANING.

I WOULD ACTUALLY USE THE FREE TEMPLATES BECAUSE THEY ARE AWESOME AS THEY ARE. I LOVE ALL THE DESIGNS. THEY ARE VERY USER FRIENDS AND VERY MODERN.

IN MY BUSINESS I WOULD OFFER THEM IN A PACKAGE. THESE ARE VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE BUSY MOM. ALL FAMILIES NEED THIS.

  64. 64

These sound like a great holiday gift for the grandparents. We’d probably use an existing template and insert the photos of the kids. I don’t have a business. Thanks,

  65. 65

I would use the custom templates and order the boards for family. I love the calendar/notes template pictured and think that would be a great addition to the fridge!

  66. 66
    Jonathan Clark says:

I would probably keep one to help promote my business. I am new in the industry and still learning all of the offerings and such. I would use the other as a holiday gift, either to my parents or grandma, ya never know what to get people like that :o) depending on the templates I would either use one of theirs or try to create my own … just depends on the selection :o)

  67. 67
    Whitnie Stark says:

if i won the freebies, i’d use them as holiday gifts for the 2 grandmas! how useful of a gift! and how much joy would it bring to daily see those precious faces of their grandbabies each time they used it!! what a great idea!!

i think i would use their templates, as they seem very efficient for daily use…unless i needed something they didn’t offer. then i would LOVE to have the flexibility to design my own!

i would love to tie these into my business as well as i want to offer gifts to get my clients talking/sharing with others. this would be a special surprise for my clients purchasing a collection as opposed to just a la carte. ;) thanks so much for sharing!! hope to win!!

    Jennifer Jenison says:

Seriously, that is one of the BEST ideas I’ve seen!!!! If I won 2 of these dry erase boards, I would definitely use one for myself but then use mine to promote more business for you to have people buy these as gifts. I LOVE dry erase boards. We use them at home on our fridge and I would want something more personalized to use. This is just so awesome! I’ll have to purchase whether I win or not!!! LOL

  73. 73
    Amanda Geyer says:

Oh these would be wonderful for holiday gifts! I would give one to my mom and one to my mother in law! I think over time I will try their templates and my own design. 74. 74
    ann says:

I am just starting up my photography business, so I would give them to the first two clients as a gift for referring new business to me (upon booking).

I would want to make one design from scratch and another from Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes.

I would use this as a marketing tool, including the client’s photos with my contact info and logo. Initially, this will be a promotional item, but later I will include it in a package or a la carte for purchase.

  82. 82
    Christina says:

I LOVE these dry erase boards and would love to try them out! I would use one of Color Inc’s templates since I’m not an expert template designer. I have a 3-month old so I’d probably use one of his sweet photos and give them to his grandmas for Christmas!

I specialize in senior photography and the parents of my seniors are usually in denial that their babies are growing up, so I would definitely want to show these to the parents, as another way for them to remember their child! (grocery list, to-do list, etc)

  83. 83
    Dawn says:

If I won, I would send one to my mother in law for Christmas and keep one here at my house so my son could draw on it.

  84. 84

I would give one as a gift, keep one for me. :)
Probably would design my own… nothing against templates…
In the future, I would use them as a client gift/giveaway.

  85. 85
    Brooke says:

I would order one for myself, because, well, I have to have a sample! And I would probably order another for my Mother-in-Love for Christmas :) Being me, I would probably end up doing my own design, but if I’m in a cranky-I’ve-done-too-much-editing-and-neglected-my-family mood, I might go with one of the Roes templates (they are actually pretty cute, after all). As far as ideas on using them in the business… they could be used on the filing cabinet for a out in the open type session schedule? The spaces are small, so this wouldn’t work so well for a busy studio, but for someone like me, who only does 1-2 sessions a week typically, it could be used to have quick access to what day you have a particular client scheduled, while showcasing some of your best work :) You could use your studio logo as the background image ;)

    Karmen Wood says:

I would love this! I help my Uncle take care of my Grandparents and epch of them could use this and I could put one on my fridge so no matter whose house we were at we would all have the schedule! PERFECT! I would probably start out using a pre-made template. I own a photography business and could see my clients wanting these to use for so many things!! I love the idea of giving a sibling one to draw on the other siblings face! SO cute!

    Bethann Curtin says:

I would use the board for my own personal use. The template with the three photos at the bottom would work perfectly for what I need, a chart for my 3 childrens’ chores and good choice/bad choice chart for the week. It’s my way of keeping them in line. Currently I am using paper but the dry erase would work so mush nicer. :) Once they grow out of this stage I’d probably switch it over and use it in the photography business part of my life.

The 2nd one I’d give to my Mother as a gift.. she loves photo gifts of any nature.

I’d use these as client gifts for the holidays. What a great idea to replace the standard calendar on a magnet thing that’s been floating around for the past few years. I’d design my own, probably. Awesome!

I would use one of thier templates for the first go around. And for a business, I think it would be a great item to have in your office – a good conversation starter for the many unique products that you have the ability to offer as a professional photographer.

Both — that’s the fun of getting two!

I would use the sample one with my logo and put the clients name that I was meeting that day written on it..that way they could see how neat it would be. Plus show them what a perfect gift it was.

    * Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes?
–I would probably try it both ways to see what I like best. I’d like to *think* I could make an awesome one from scratch but I probably need help.

I would LOVE some of these dry erase boards! I spent about $20 at a craft store in August to get 2 boards for my classroom – and wouldn’t you know the magnets weren’t nearly strong enough to keep them in place, so they’ve fallen countless times, leaving them dented and banged up! Then, when trying to remove the magnetic backing, the “high-quality” paperboard peeled away as well! Ugh!

I’d love to utilize the calendar feature, and I’ve already got images of my school community on file to add so I could use them from year to year! I’m thinking a ROES template would probably work well for this, but when I think about the marketing/scheduling and convenience possibilities of having one with my business logo as well, and I could go on forever!

Here’s hoping!! Oh, and I LOVE the idea of using these as fun art for your kids! That’s awesome!

I would definitely use my own imagination and create my own board! I love creating my own designs and this would be the perfect opportunity!

  187. 187

I would probably keep them for myself, maybe give one to grandparents. :)

Oh I would Love two of these to send with my Teenage daughters to school. Free Advertising for me – fun for my girls and friends. I would use my own design.

  192. 192
    Fay says:

I would create one sample for my studio, and create one for our very own refrigerator (of my sweet puppy, of course!). Most likely, I’d design something myself, but keep it simple. For my business, I would take into account the previous MCP post about not discounting, and offer these instead for a future high-order promotion.

  193. 193

These look so fun! I’d love one for myself and one for my 3-year-old to practice writing her letters and name on. I’d probably use Color Inc’s free templates to start, but it would be fun to design some of my own. I’d love to offer these as add-ons to print orders, for marketing purposes and they’d make great client appreciation gifts!

  194. 194
    Steph says:

I would keep one for myself/sample and give one away to a client. I would probably use their design templates. I think I would like to give this as an incentive if they spend so much they receive one free.

    Carli says:

•I think i would keep one for my own fridge, and then give one as a christmas gift to my mother in law
•I really like the idea of my own design, but might end up using a template due to time issues.
•These would be great to offer as a product to clients.

  197. 197
    Kim S says:

How cute are these!!!! I would probably keep one for myself and maybe use one as a prize for one of the little contests I have randomly with my clients for referrals…OR keep them both and give them away to grandparents for Christmas. I really like the look of the two template examples you have up there and everyone needs a calendar..so I would probably do the ROE templates! I can totally see these being prizes, or added as part of packages with the business. I think clients would love them!

  198. 198
    Aubrey says:

I would LOVE to win these for my mom and my sister. They are “to do list” kind of girls and would love to incorporate my photos on them! I would use the free templates for starters but then I would try to design my own. Thanks so much!

    I follow you facebook:)

  199. 199

I love these! I would love to win so I can print up some samples. I would use ColorInc’s templates, and if I felt super creative, maybe eventually design my own. I love the idea of these as client gifts since it will keep you and your work in their minds every day.

  200. 200
    Rochelle says:

I would keep one & give one as a gift to my secret pal or maybe my mother in law. I think I would design my own template.

  201. 201

If you win 2 dry erase boards, who would you give them to? Would you print up samples or use them for yourself? A customer? Or as holiday gifts?
Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes?

I might use one of the templates!

What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)?

I think they would be great to gift to VIP clients, but I think it could also be marketed as a great “grandma” gift to let clients buy.

Attaching a picture of the dry erase board I’ve already gotten, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it :-)

These are by far the best looking Dry Erase Boards I have seen! I would use one for me and my family and one for a functional sample. I would like to make my own design from scratch! I think they would be a great promotional item to offer with purchases of at least $XXX – or as a thank you gift to loyal customers. Heck they’d even make great gifts for the in-laws ;)

  206. 206

I “suggested” MCP to my photog friends on FB :)

  207. 207

I would use one because I need to know what to tell my clients about functionality. And the other for a Christmas gift to my mom who would in turn share it with the WORLD!!

  208. 208

Two is simply not enough! I need one for the daily “to-do’s” so I don’t lose my mind. I need two for teachers, two for my twins, one for my oldest son to draw on my twins, one for my “pose list” when I’m off to a session, and of course one for each set of grandparents because they’ll be jealous when they see mine :) They look awesome!

Awesome giveaway! I would love to give one to my niece (a brandnew mother) and my sister (grandma) this Xmas! I think the calendar would be great to help the new mom keep track of “stuff”, while the full-size picture board attached to the file cabinent in grandma’s 6th grade class would give her super bragging rights! Excellent marketing tools to use in newborn photography businesses!

  212. 212
    Midori says:

Question one is easy! I would use them as gifts! I have great photos of my niece and I’d love to give one dry erase board to her mom and another to grandma!

I would probably dabble with the template but knowing me, I’d end up created my own design.

Love your blog – always great info and great guest writers!

  213. 213

    wow, these are super fun!
I’d love to make a sample board for clients: this would be a super fun board to use baby pics on as a gift to grandparents, or for a bride & groom, housewarming, omg so many great uses!
I’d probably start out by using the templates.
This would be such a fun thing to offer clients.
    So tempting to keep one!

  214. 214
    Missy says:

Love these! They are so creative!
I would definitely give them to friends and family as gifts and maybe one for myself too. :)
I like the calendar design in Roes.
I think I would make the suggestion that this kind of thing is out there but I wouldn’t necessarily market them.

If I won two of these I would keep one for myself (I mean how cool are these?) and then give one to my mom for Christmas- what a great gift! I would probably use one of the free templates to design mine. And I don’t have a business (YET!) so I would probably think of this as a future item I might offer.

    Andrea Lopez says:

If I were to win I would give them away to the grandparents as gifts. I think I would probably want to design my own rather than use the templates. I think these could be used as a “cheat” board on shoots. Or give them to customers as a thank you gift.

  224. 224
    Kristi says:

I would love to have these, one for my girls to look at and one for my husband when he deploys. We are always using dry erase boards, so I think one customized with our photos would make the deployment a little happier =)

  225. 225
    Tanja Jacobsen says:

oh wow!! I Love these! What a neat Idea, if I won I hate to sound greedy but I would def keep one for myself, & maybe give one to my Mom for Christmas. :) Going to share this on Facebook now!!!

  226. 226

These would be so great for church! The kids could draw *and be quiet* and parents around me would see my art. It’s a Win/Win!
Wonder if they make clipboards? That would be awesome to take on shoots with contracts etc.

I think I would use a template in Roes.

  227. 227
    Sue says:

I’d LOVE these! I would use them as gifts and customer Xmas gifts! They’d be great giveaways on blogs/facebook pages also! I would use one of your templates or their free ones.

  228. 228

Brilliant idea! What would I do? I’m a carer and my business supports carers and especially those they care for. These would be perfect for those with dementia. If I won, I’d print up two – one sample and one for the person I provide care for. The images would help to make the boards meaningful and relevant to those (our loved ones) who have memory issues and need this type of display for their ‘daily stuff’. Currently we use normal whiteboards but these provide that wonderful opportunity to link back to the person with meaningful images that gain their buyin to reading the boards. I’d probably try to use existing templates at first but would customize over time as they became more popular…

    template :)

•If you win 2 dry erase boards, who would you give them to? Would you print up samples or use them for yourself? A customer? Or as holiday gifts?

My daughters would be THRILLED to have something like this , so I would keep one for them and keep one for a sample as I think some of my clients would find this fun too !!

•Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes?

I would most likely try the Roes :)

•What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)?

I would offer these for childrens sessions, I think kids would find these particularly fun!! they could also work for boudoir sessions to give their man with their sexy image on them to use for work :)

  231. 231
    Sarah says:

I would give them to my kids. They are learning to write and would have such fun practicing their writing on their own photos! I’d probably use one of the Roes templates for now, but it would be fun to have the opportunity to create a design in the future. It would be a fun offering for families who were looking for different gift options. Very fun!

  232. 232

mi would give one to my middle child – Gabby – she is sad her picture isn’t on the fridge ad I would use this to put her there.. the other I would give to my mom cause my kids are there so much they would love to be on grannys fridge too and granny would love it as well – WIN WIN

  236. 236
    Amy S says:

    1. one for myself and the other to use as a sample

    2. hard to decide….I would probably do both at some point

    3. they would make great give-a-aways or as promo items to give to my biz partners to cross market our businesses

  237. 237

As A wedding photographer I would use one as a sample and have an engagement photo put in of one of my couples & calendar layout on there, then would use it as a sample to show couples they could use this cute design to keep track of their wedding plans!

I like the idea of using a premade template, fast and easy works for me!

If I used them for my business I would use it for checklists. Right now I keep a to-do list at my desk of personal todos and business todos so that I can keep things seperate and stay focused.

  238. 238
    alison n says:

I would give one away to a client and the 2nd I would use as an example maybe when showing clients a wall design…I’m kinda a doodler! I would be more likely to use a template…and I would use this in my busines as a to do list or instead of scratch paper while helping a client order~

  239. 239
    Amy Clifton says:

Wow–these are great! If I won, I think I would host my own contest for my clients! Of course I would take photos of the finished products in order to add these to my product offerings. I’ll take a look at the ROES templates, but I would probably end up creating some templates of my own using MCP products or maybe even my album design software.

  242. 242
    Tiffany M. says:

these are really neat when I read the post on FB it didnt seem to exciting but theyare super cute!

I would give one to my folks and use the templates to create something wonderful for them as they don’t get to see the grandkids but every few years.

I’d keep the other for myself and use it to sell with photo packages

make it an option when purchasing prints….

2)Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes?
    * Im sure I would use one of the templates the 1st time around.
3)What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)?

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE!!!!

    1. I would definetly use at least one to promote them and maybe use one as an incentive gift from met to a senior rep! What a cool idea to add to Senior packages!
    2. I would probably use the free templates, and then try to create my own….
    3. I would love to add these to my family and Senior packages! I think these are soooo great! I would use them as a gift for upgraded packages. Another idea would be to give them to a senior as a gift for bringing in a certain amount of new business.

xx I HOPE I WIN!!! xx

I would love to offer these as a product in my photography business. I think they would go great for holiday gifts or even back-to-school time (I’m thinking kids might put them in their lockers). Also, the calendar ones might make a great marketing item/gift to clients.

  258. 258
    Verna says:

These dry erase boards would be great on a wall in my home office and as a gift to my sister, a school teacher.

I like the templates Color Inc. offers, but I’d enjoy designing my own and customizing it to my needs.

Sending these to clients that have high traffic in their offices/businesses is good for marketing. The dry erase board can be in a lobby of a doctor’s office and serve as a place to put a catchy phrase or quote like “Be a picture of good health.” Sounds corny, but corny phrases are often the most memorable!

In any case, photo dry erase boards are another great product for photographers and clients everywhere.

  259. 259
    ajira says:

I would definitely use one to make a gift for my parents who live in South Africa and don’t get to see my son too often. The other would be for us to enjoy while also serving as a sample for clients. :D

    Hope I’m not too late
    1. I would use these for my two girls. They will just love them.
    2. Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes?
    3. I think this would be a great promo to send out.

  261. 261

If I won the boards, I would give one to my sister and keep one, but use it as a sample. Then I would order them as Christmas gifts! I’m already planning this.
I think I’d start with the free templates, then get creative eventually.
Also, I would add this to our products to customers and bring my own along on shoots as an example. Very cool product for a good price!

If you win 2 dry erase boards, who would you give them to? Right now, I would give them as Christmas gifts to grandparents.

Would you print up samples or use them for yourself? A customer? Or as holiday gifts? Right now I’d use them as gifts, but when we return to the States, I would use them as promotional items. I would put a couple of pictures of a family from a recent shoot, along with my business information, as a “freebie” in a photo package. They would likely keep it forever, since their loved ones are included, and their friends and family would easily see my information – great marketing tool!

Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes? I would definitely use the free templates!

What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)? As stated above, I would use these for marketing. I might also take pictures of flowers or food from florists or caterers at events, then give them a dry erase calendar with samples of their work, along with samples of my work, to display in their business… again, keeping my business info displayed. It would be beneficial to their business, as well as my own.

  269. 269
    Kyna says:

I’d probably give them away as “thank yous” to people who are helping me get started with photography–maybe one to my “constant photo subjects (nieces’/nephews’ families) and also maybe to my first “real” portrait shoot subjects’ family. :) And they’re so super cute, I’d probably have to order a couple for me. :)

    Laurie LeBlanc says:

This is a great idea! I would definitely give these away as gifts to my 2 nieces with pictures of their little ones on the boards. I will use the templates provided just to make it easier. This would be a cute gift idea for clients that order during the holidays.

I am also posting a link to the contest on my Facebook page.

  274. 274

I would be keeping one as a sample, and using one for myself! Then, I’d order a bunch more for Xmas gifts, because, who could resist? I think clients would LOVE these. I think I’d use them as incentives for buying bigger packages. Or just as gifts. I would probably design my own, but when I’m in a rush, the free templates look awesome!

  275. 275
    Dixie says:

Oh, these are great!! I will definitely use them as holiday gifts and will most likely use one of the templates. My husband would love one of these with his grandson’s pictures on it!!
