About Sunshine Overlays:
The Sunshine Overlays are a simplified method for improving photographs in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements through the use of Layers. Basically you drag-and-drop a Sunshine Overlay onto a photograph, change its layer mode to what is indicated by the end of the overlay file name, then make minor adjustments to suit your taste. For instance, an overlay called “color_burst03 hard light” would have its layer mode changed to Hard Light. One named “solar burst04 screen” would have its layer mode change to Screen, etc.
The Overlays in the package were created to work together by having similar colors and styles so you can add multiple layers to build upon the effect you want to achieve.
The overlays are also meant to be modified by some of the Photoshop tools and adjustments, particularly the layer opacity slider used to tune the effect up or down, and the Hue/Saturation Adjustment layer. This adjustment can be applied to control the intensity of color saturation in the overlays, and can also be used to shift or add color to the overlays to make them harmonize better with your image.
