Meyer-Optik Görlitz announces Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 lens
Meyer-Optik Görlitz, a German company with decades of experience in lens manufacturing, has revealed its plans to reawaken a family of legendary lenses: Trioplan. The Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 lens will be the first to be redesigned and it will become available this October for Canon and Nikon DSLRs, and a few mirrorless camera mounts.
Panasonic 42.5mm f/1.7 and 30mm f/2.8 lenses announced
Panasonic has officially unveiled a couple of new lenses for Micro Four Thirds cameras. The Panasonic 42.5mm f/1.7 Lumix G ASPH Power OIS and 30mm f/2.8 Lumix G Macro ASPH Mega OIS lenses are two prime models, which support fast autofocus in compact and lightweight packages for mirrorless camera users.

Olympus has patented a new, bright zoom lens at the USPTO, which appears to have been designed to cover sensors smaller than those of the Micro Four Thirds ones. The new Olympus 5-24mm f/1.8-2.8 lens will allegedly make its way into a premium compact camera, which could be announced at some point in the future.
Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens could be in development
