Zeiss Milvus 135mm f/2 Apo Sonnar lens is on its way
Zeiss will add one new member to the Milvus family of manual focus lenses by the end of this year. The next product in line for announcement is the 135mm f/2 Apo Sonnar lens, a telephoto prime with a bright maximum aperture. It is coming within a few months for Canon and Nikon DSLR cameras with full-frame sensors.
Canon EF 28mm f/1.4L USM lens patent shows up online
Canon has patented yet another lens for EF-mount DSLR owners. The product that is in development consists of a 28mm f/1.4 wide-angle prime lens, which is capable of covering full-frame sensors. The lens features an Ultrasonic Motor and it is L-designated, so it will be a high-quality optic.
Olympus 25mm f/1.2 lens coming this year
Olympus is believed to be working on a 25mm wide-angle prime lens with a maximum aperture of f/1.2. Fujifilm delays XF 120mm f/2.8 R macro lens until Q4 2016
The rumor mill has previously said that Fujifilm will launch an XF 23mm f/2 lens before some lenses added to the official X-mount line-up. A different source is backing up these claims by stating that the launch of the XF 120mm f/2.8 R macro lens has been postponed until the fourth quarter of 2016.

Canon is preparing to fight against Sony on another front. The EOS maker has recently patented a lens-style camera which can be mounted on mobile devices. Leica M-D camera rumored to be announced on March 10
Leica will hold a product launch event on or around March 10 in order to reveal a few new products. The Camera & Imaging Products Association (CIPA) has released another report which shows that both camera and lens shipments have decreased in 2015.
