Sony A7RII to feature 56-megapixel or higher-resolution sensor
Zeiss has uploaded a 56-megapixel photo to its official Flickr account. The EXIF data has been removed and the description of the image says that it has been captured with a Sony A7R camera. This camera does not have such capability, so its replacement, the Sony A7RII, is now rumored to employ a 56-megapixel or higher-resolution sensor.
Leica M Monochrom Typ 246 mirrorless camera announced
Leica is back! The German manufacturer has just introduced a new rangefinder camera and it will release it on the market soon. However, it only shoots black and white photos and it is quite expensive. Without much further ado, here is the brand new Leica M Monochrom Typ 246 rangefinder interchangeable lens camera.
Sigma 400mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sports lens patented
While Sigma promises people that a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens is a priority, the company is also working on a Sigma 400mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sports lens. This product has just been patented in Japan and it would become the first Sigma telephoto prime lens to be added to the manufacturer’s Sports series.
High-quality Sony FE 50mm f/1.8 lens could be on its way
A couple of new optics for FE-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras have been patented by Sony in Japan and it looks like they might be introduced at some point. The more exciting model consists of a Sony FE 50mm f/1.8 lens, which is said to provide a very high image quality with almost no visible distortions.
Canon tilt-shift macro lens rumored to be in development
Remember that unique lens with macro capabilities from Canon? It is back in the rumor mill and it is more exciting than some people have hoped. It appears that the product in question is a Canon tilt-shift macro lens that is already in development and is on its way, as EF-mount users may get it sometime in 2016!
Fujifilm X-T1 autofocus speed to be faster with new firmware
Fujifilm is allegedly preparing to release a new firmware update for one of its X-mount mirrorless cameras. According to an insider, the device in question is none other than the first weathersealed X-mount camera. In addition to bug fixes, the firmware version 4.0 will bring an improved Fujifilm X-T1 autofocus speed.

The source is reporting that the DSLR will actually come packed with a 28-megapixel sensor, while the previous leakster claimed that the sensor will not go over 24 megapixels.

An insider has leaked more Canon EOS 1D X Mark II details before the DSLR’s purported announcement date, which is now said to take place by the end of 2015 instead of 2016, like previously rumored.
